On August 12th, 2025, American R&B star Joe Thomas, known mononymously as Joe, will perform at the Old Hararians Sports Club in Harare, Zimbabwe. The show, which will commence at 4:00 PM, promises to be an unforgettable evening of soulful music and timeless hits.

In the early 1990s, Joe rose to prominence after releasing his debut album, “Everything.” He followed it with a series of successful albums under Jive Records, including “All That I Am” (1997), the international bestseller “My Name Is Joe” (2000), and the multi-certified albums “Better Days” (2001) and “And Then…” (2003).

Ginjah To Headline Culture Festival In Maine

Reggae recording artist Ginjah, who is affectionately referred to as The Reggae Soulman, has been confirmed as the headlining act for the upcoming Culture Reggae Festival taking place on Saturday, August 2nd, at the Worumbo Riverfront Event Center (1 Canal Street) in Lisbon Falls, Maine.

Also on the lineup are Abby Dallas, Green Lion Crew, Part One Tribe, Gorilla Finger Dub, and Tiger Mike. Presented by Positive Vibez Entertainment, attendees will experience Caribbean culture (food, music, and lifestyle) in the quaint community of Lisbon. Tickets are available on Eventbrite.

The Stellar Gospel Music Awards is set to celebrate its 40th year at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center in Nashville, Tennessee, on August 16, 2025. Honoring the year’s best and brightest in gospel music, the awards ceremony will be hosted by GRAMMY Award-winning duo BeBe and CeCe Winans.

Nineteen-time Stellar Award winner Pastor Mike Jr. and Stellar Award winner Jason Nelson lead the field of nominees this year with nine nominations each, both landing top nominations in the key categories Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Male Artist of the Year, and Album of the Year (Nelson’s You Belong: Live in Durham and Mike Jr.’s I Got Away EP).

Grammy-winning gospel ensemble Maverick City Music, who is known for their contemporary Christian songs that transcend boundaries, will be performing at the Wolf Trap’s Filene Center (1551 Trap Road) in Vienna, Virginia, on Wednesday, August 6th.

Summer Dance, a music event promotion company in Bremen, Germany, will be presenting the inaugural Summer Dance Festival on August 23rd, 2025. It will be held at Waller Feldmarktsee (Heideweg 4) from 12 noon to midnight.
