Tamar Braxton Announces Multi-City Winery Run

Tamar Braxton is set to bring her live show to City Winery venues across the United States this summer, with five dates scheduled between late July and mid-August.

The run kicks off on Thursday, July 30 at 6:30 p.m. in City Winery Atlanta, followed by a doubleheader at City Winery NYC’s Main Stage on Saturday, August 1, with performances at 6:00 p.m. and 9:00 p.m. The tour continues to City Winery Philadelphia on Sunday, August 9 at 5:00 p.m., and wraps in Nashville on Saturday, August 15 at 7:30 p.m., also on the Main Stage.

Known for her powerhouse vocals and career spanning R&B hits and television, Braxton joins City Winery’s lineup of intimate concert experiences that pair live music with the venue’s wine-focused atmosphere.

Lalah Hathaway to Headline Wednesday Jazzy Nights at Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre

Detroit’s Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre will welcome Grammy-winning vocalist Lalah Hathaway on Wednesday, June 24, 2026, as the next installment of its Wednesday Jazzy Nights series, presented by Chase. The performance, set to begin at 7 PM, will also feature saxophonist Eric Darius as a special guest.

Baltimore’s iconic AFRAM Festival will celebrate its 50th anniversary in 2026 with a three-day event at Druid Hill Park. Presented by the Mayor’s Office of Arts, Culture & Entertainment in partnership with Baltimore City Recreation & Parks, the free festival returns over Juneteenth weekend and continues its longstanding tradition as the largest free African-American festival on the East Coast.

Headlining the anniversary edition is legendary soul singer Charlie Wilson, joined by R&B favorites Dru Hill, SWV and Mario, as well as acclaimed hip-hop group The Lox. AFRAM will also have additional performances from Tamia, PJ Morton, Normani, Chlöe Bailey, Lil Mo, Ultra Naté, Brandon Woody, J Brown, and Paula Campbell.

City of Newark to Honor R&B Legend Faith Evans with Street Dedication and Block Party

The City of Newark, New Jersey, will celebrate one of its own with a Street Dedication and Block Party in honor of Grammy Award-winning R&B artist Faith Evans on Saturday, June 13, 2026.

The festivities will be held at the intersection of Grumman Avenue and Elizabeth Avenue, with the block party running from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the formal street dedication ceremony taking place at 12 p.m.
