The special concert will take place against the stunning backdrop of Treasure Beach, offering guests and music lovers an intimate sunset experience with one of Jamaica’s most celebrated vocalists.

Mr. Cool Arrives in Jamaica for Music Video Production and Grassroots Promotion

Reggae recording artist Mr. Cool has arrived in Jamaica for an extended stay focused on music video production, grassroots promotion, and connecting directly with audiences and industry professionals across the island.

Mr. Cool arrived in Jamaica on August 18, 2026, and will remain on the island through the end of September. During his stay, he will be filming three music videos, including visuals for his previously released songs “All ThoseLies” and “Ibrahim Traore,” as well as a new single that has yet to be released.

In addition to the video productions, Mr. Cool will be undertaking a grassroots promotional campaign, providing an opportunity to strengthen his connection with Jamaican listeners while engaging with DJs, media, promoters, artists, and other members of the local music industry.

Reggae-dancehall icon Sizzla Kalonji will perform live in Costa Rica on Sunday, September 27. Recognized widely as a foundational legend within the dancehall and reggae genres, the Jamaican artist will bring his high-energy set to the Nebula Center stage (100 oeste de Ultrapark, frente a DHL, San Francisco) starting at 3:00 PM.

Tickets are available exclusively through publitickets.com. Attendees can choose between two main admission tiers, both of which have service charges already included in the final price: VIP access is available for ₡40,250, while General admission is priced at ₡28,750.

Sister Nancy & The Steady Rock Band Set for San Francisco Performance

Reggae legend Sister Nancy will head to San Francisco for a live performance with The Steady Rock Band on Friday, September 4, 2026. Presented by folkYEAH, the show will take place at The Chapel, located at 777 Valencia Street.

Doors open at 8:00 p.m., with the show beginning at 9:00 p.m. The all-ages event will feature general admission, standing-room-only access. Tickets are priced at $58.14 ($45 face value plus $13.14 service fee).

Cherry Hill Arts & Music Waterfront Festival – New Date: August 29

The Cherry Hill Arts & Music Waterfront Festival is set to return to Baltimore’s Middle Branch Park, 3301 Waterview Avenue, on Saturday, August 29, 2026, following its rescheduling from the original July 4 date. The free community festival will run from 2:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and will celebrate music, arts, culture and the rich history of the Cherry Hill community.

The lineup features reggae icon Mykal Rose & Subatomic Sound System, alongside Navasha Daya, Mighty Mark, Ike MoDeezy, KERQ, Ursula Rucker, Jessica Care Moore, Don Inkosi, Rasan Quartet and Lucky. Attendees can also enjoy food trucks, vendors, children’s activities and historical reenactments, with free parking and shuttle service available.

Presented by the Youth Resiliency Institute in partnership with Switching Lanes Adult & Youth Institute Inc., Westport CEDC and the Cherry Hill Family Congress, the 10th annual festival also recognizes the 100th anniversary of the movement that gave rise to Black History Month and the 80th anniversary of the dedication of Cherry Hill Public Homes.

Renowned reggae singer, songwriter and producer Hopeton Lindo has announced the upcoming release of his six-song EP, A Miracle. The somber, gospel-influenced project is produced by Irie Pen Records and will be distributed globally through Zojak Worldwide.

Known for co-writing iconic party anthems like J.C. Lodge’s “Telephone Love”,Buju Banton‘s “Wanna Be Loved”, and Shabba Ranks‘ “Mr. Loverman”, as well as solely penning Gregory Isaacs‘ timeless romantic ballad “Red Rose for Gregory”Lindo pivots toward a more intimate, reflective space on this record. The project serves as an emotional testimony of resilience and gratitude, written to uplift listeners navigating their own hardships.
