Militant Praise Event Set for August 29th in Georgetown

Love and Faith World Outreach Ministries in Georgetown will host “Militant Praise,” a gospel music event, on August 29th at 6 PM. The evening will feature a lineup of gospel ministers, including Disi, Minister Seon, Dwayne Fyah, Prince Saj, Renwick Duesbury, Radikal One, Allan Petty, and The Remnant.

General admission tickets are priced at $5,000, with a limited number of early bird tickets available at $3,000. For ticket information, interested attendees can call 645-6575.

The event is being brought to the community through a partnership between Imperial Production, DaJourney Production, and We Live On Purpose.

Fresh Start Ministries will host “Find One, Bring One,” a revival event billed as “a powerful night of deliverance in God’s presence,” on Tuesday, August 25, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Aretha Franklin Amphitheater, 2600 Atwater Street, Detroit, Michigan.

Sizzla Kalonji Brings Live Performance to Costa Rica on September 27

Reggae-dancehall icon Sizzla Kalonji will perform live in Costa Rica on Sunday, September 27. Recognized widely as a foundational legend within the dancehall and reggae genres, the Jamaican artist will bring his high-energy set to the Nebula Center stage (100 oeste de Ultrapark, frente a DHL, San Francisco) starting at 3:00 PM.

Tickets are available exclusively through publitickets.com. Attendees can choose between two main admission tiers, both of which have service charges already included in the final price: VIP access is available for ₡40,250, while General admission is priced at ₡28,750.

The event is presented by NextPlay Group and Free Productions, under official license from ACAM.

Sister Nancy & The Steady Rock Band Set for San Francisco Performance

Reggae legend Sister Nancy will head to San Francisco for a live performance with The Steady Rock Band on Friday, September 4, 2026. Presented by folkYEAH, the show will take place at The Chapel, located at 777 Valencia Street.

Doors open at 8:00 p.m., with the show beginning at 9:00 p.m. The all-ages event will feature general admission, standing-room-only access. Tickets are priced at $58.14 ($45 face value plus $13.14 service fee).

‘Keep Your Dreams Alive’ Concert Set for September 26 at West Toronto Church of God

WK Music presents the Keep Your Dreams Alive Concert, an evening of inspiration and uplifting music scheduled for Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the West Toronto Church of God located at 1055 Wilson Ave, North York. Doors will open at 5PM with showtime beginning at 6PM.

The concert will feature gospel artists Joan Flemmings and Jai Kingston from Jamaica, along with Sone G, Kimberly Ade, Jay Shadrock, Tiffany Hall, and Fitz Aransevia. The event will be hosted by Emcee Danny Graham.

Tickets are now on sale, with presold tickets priced at $50 until August 31st and $60 after. Children ages 10 to 15 will be admitted for $25 at the door, while children 9 and under will be admitted free. French-Cameroonian singer-songwriter Irma has released the official video for her single, “Nobody Wins.” The visual premiered on her official YouTube channel on August 19, 2026.

The intimate video places Irma in a quiet, rural setting, where she is seen sitting in a yard, singing and playing her guitar. At various moments, she writes in a notebook, creating the impression that she is putting the lyrics to the song onto paper as she performs.

The visual also incorporates simple glimpses of everyday life, including Irma eating, brushing her teeth and quietly taking in her natural surroundings. The understated approach complements the reflective nature of “Nobody Wins,” allowing the song and Irma‘s performance to remain the focus.
