On Thanksgiving Saturday, November 25th, recording artists Spragga Benz, Bugle, Jah Vinci and Iba Mahr will be live in concert at The People’s Ballroom – 3340 Main Street – in Hartford, Connecticut.

The above acts will be joined by Nordia Mothersille, Briggy Benz, Askel, Bittah Sosicka, and Top Lane. This is an eighteen and older event that will be hosted by Glenda Gee. Limited early bird tickets can be purchased from caribtix-dot.com.

Yesterday – November 8th – SiriusXM announced that Grammy Award-winning reggae artist Shaggy is launching an exclusive year-round SiriusXM channel, called Shaggy’s Boombastic Radio. Curated entirely by Shaggy, it will feature his favorite reggae, dancehall and afro-beat tunes.

As part of the exclusive channel programming, Shaggy’s Boombastic Radio will debut Shaggy and Sting’s recent live performance from their inaugural One Fine Day Festival. The performance, captured at the Mann Center in Philadelphia, will air on the channel over Thanksgiving weekend.

Shaggy’s Yaad, the reggae star’s current show which first debuted on SiriusXM’s FLY and is now in its third successful year, will now regularly air on Shaggy’s Boombastic Radio. The show, hosted by Shaggy, takes listeners on a cultural journey with a wide mix of rare and classic tracks spanning the hip-hop, dancehall and reggae genres. The channel is now available to subscribers in their cars on channel 332 and on the SiriusXM app.

The Canadian Football League Awards night promises to be unprecedented, as it will feature football, comedy and one of the world’s top recording artists, Shaggy.

The CFL and the 2023 Grey Cup Festival have announced that two-time GRAMMY© Award-winning reggae artist Shaggy will take part in the CFL Awards, and will perform on the OLG Stage at Fallsview Casino in Niagara Falls on Thursday, November 16.

His concert will follow the CFL Awards, which honours the top players in the Canadian Football League, taking place earlier that evening at the Avalon Theatre at Fallsview.

Football fans who hold a ticket to the CFL Awards will also get lower bowl access to Shaggy’s show. Tickets to the CFL Awards, starting at $139, are on sale now! Reggae lovers in Trinidad & Tobago are eagerly anticipating the upcoming Reggae Family Festival, which will take place on Sunday, December 17th, at the popular O2 Park. All the excitement is centered around the fact that international recording artists Sizzla Kalonji and Anthony B have been added to the lineup.

Wonder 4 Music, a record label specializing in reggae, dancehall, afrobeat and amapiano – with headquarters in the United States and Ghana – is about to release a new single by emerging artist Donskii. CEO, Tradition Man Wolo – a recording artist in his own right – has announced that the new track, titled Pretty Wine, will be live on all streaming platforms on November 29, 2023.

The imprint recently signed the eighteen-year-old Ghanaian teen, who – although half Jamaican (father) – resides in Ghana. Since his signing he has dropped an introductory single, Sweet Africa, and an EP, Fully Don. Both projects, along with two official videos, have, in a short period of time, gotten the attention of reggae-dancehall lovers, especially those based in Africa.

The upcoming single, Pretty Wine, is a tough reggae tune that will undoubtedly grow Donskii‘s fanbase, and expose him to a wider audience.
