Reggae Vibes Music Marks 10 Years of Excellence in Reggae Production

Three years after the successful launch of Reggae Vibes Radio, CEO Marlon Folkes expanded the brand’s footprint with the formation of Reggae Vibes Music — a production label dedicated to creating quality reggae music. From its inception, the goal has been to uphold the integrity and richness of the genre while showcasing talented artists from Jamaica and beyond.

Fast-forward to 2025, and the Reggae Vibes Music team is proudly celebrating a decade of success. Over the past ten years, the label has become one of the most respected names in reggae production, earning recognition for the consistency and quality of its releases. Among their standout projects are Reggae Vibes Riddim, Reggae Sax Riddim, World Rebirth Riddim, Rock All Riddim, Reggae Star Riddim, and their biggest compilation to date, Natural Vibes Riddim.

Throughout the years, Reggae Vibes Music has collaborated with some of the most renowned figures in reggae and dancehall, including Sizzla, Turbulence, Jah Cure, Lutan Fyah, Busy Signal, and Pressure Busspipe, among many others.

Beyond music production, the company has also played an active role in promoting live reggae culture through a series of successful concerts in Jamaica and the United States. As they celebrate this major milestone, Reggae Vibes Music continues to look ahead, with new projects in the pipeline and a steadfast commitment to delivering authentic reggae sounds to the world.

‘Rejoice 2025’

Rejoice 2025, the annual worship and praise event, is scheduled for Saturday, November 29, beginning at 7:00 PM. The event will be headlined by popular gospel artist Jai Kingston, known for his hits “Save Me” and “Send Judah First.”

The gathering will be hosted at Emmanuel Apostolic Church, located at 12 Slipe Road in Kingston. Alongside Jai Kingston, the evening will feature appearances by Bishop T and Dawn Martin-Panton. The church’s own ministries will be prominently showcased, including their Mass Choir, Youth Choir, Children’s Choir, Dance Ministry, Sign Language Ministry, and Speech Ministry.

Tickets for Rejoice 2025 are now available, with various pricing tiers to accommodate different attendees. Pre-sale tickets are priced at $3,000 JMD, while tickets purchased at the gate will cost $3,500 JMD. A special discounted rate of $1,500 JMD is available for students under 18, and children under 12 receive free admission.

Celebrating 30 Years of Black Star – UK Edition

Iconic rap duo Black Star, comprised of Yasiin Bey (formerly known as Mos Def) and Talib Kweli, are set to return to the United Kingdom this November for a special three-night tour celebrating 30 years of musical excellence. The performances will showcase material from both their groundbreaking debut album “Mos Def & Talib Kweli Are Black Star” and their follow-up “No Fear Of Time”.

Black Star have been widely celebrated for their socially conscious music, lyrical mastery, and lasting influence on hip-hop culture. Known for their thought-provoking commentary and dynamic live performances, Bey and Kweli continue to embody the essence of authentic rap three decades into their careers.

Fans can look forward to three electrifying nights across the UK. The tour kicks off on November 11 at O2 Academy Brixton in London, followed by a show on November 15 at O2 Victoria Warehouse in Manchester, and concludes on November 16 at O2 Academy Birmingham.

Kings of Gospel, Fred Hammond & Marvin Sapp, to perform at the Orpheum Theatre on Nov. 7

Star Status Entertainment and Glamlife Events present Kings of Gospel, a faith-based concert featuring two gospel legends, Fred Hammond and Marvin Sapp. The event will be hosted by Jovonta Patton, who is also scheduled to perform live.

Kings of Gospel will be held at the Orpheum Theatre, located at 910 Hennepin Avenue in Minneapolis, Minnesota, on Friday, November 7. Tickets are available on Ticketmaster.

Cellus Hamilton Drops the Official Video for “Mirror Me”

Inspirational hip-hop artist Cellus Hamilton has released the official video for his gospel track, “Mirror Me.” Produced by Blu Majic Beat Co., the song was originally released last November and is a unique collaboration featuring both Cellus and his mother, Mesha Hamilton.

Actor-turned-recording artist Kadeem Wilson, known musically as Kenzic, has released his latest single “Top Ranking,” featuring the acclaimed dancehall star Agent Sasco. The track, which dropped at the end of September, is presented by KeeRab Records and is now available on all major streaming platforms.

“Top Ranking” takes a bold lyrical stance, addressing the issue of police discrimination and the misuse of authority by inexperienced officers.
