Have you seen Alwayne Love’s visuals for “Africa The Motherland”?

Last summer, emerging artist Alwayne Love, in collaboration with T25 Records Inc., released “Africa The Motherland”. The roots-reggae single is a tribute to the African continent and its far-reaching contributions to the world.

Not long after it was first released, the single inspired a remix reimagined as a house track by accomplished music producer and audio engineer Shaanti Kosmo, known for working with Julian Marley and for creating remixes for international stars such as Miley Cyrus, Ellie Goulding, and Doug E. Fresh. This crossover version added a new dimension to “Africa The Motherland”, broadening its appeal beyond reggae’s core audience.

Fast forward to two months ago, T25 Records published the music videos for both the original and the remix of “Africa The Motherland”. For those who have not yet seen them, the videos are available on T25 Records‘ YouTube channel—click here or on the image above to watch.

New Song & Video from Mr. Vegas “Marching on to Progress”

Reggae-dancehall artist Mr. Vegas has released a timely new single and video titled “Marching on to Progress”. The track arrives in the wake of a divisive general election and carries a message aimed at healing and uniting the nation.

The song is a remake of the People’s National Party’s campaign anthem “Blood and Fire Comrades”, but with a distinctly different focus. While the original celebrated the party’s drive to regain power, Mr. Vegas’s version broadens the perspective to highlight national progress beyond political lines.

The music video reinforces this vision of unity. It features dancers clad in both parties’ colors, joyfully moving and singing side by side. The visuals echo the song’s call for solidarity, demonstrating that despite political differences, the nation’s strength lies in togetherness.

With “Marching on to Progress”, Mr. Vegas blends music and message, offering not only a catchy remake but also a unifying anthem for Jamaicans navigating a period of political division.
