Laden & Di Genius collaborate on new track “My Place”

Dancehall artist Laden has teamed up with producer Di Genius, the son of reggae legend Freddie McGregor, to release a laid-back, captivating new single titled “My Place”.

Shared on September 14, Laden uses the track to celebrate his community, acknowledging that although he is renowned worldwide, he remains humble and committed to the neighborhood from which he came. Simple as it may seem, this is notable because we often hear stories of accomplished artists who are either unable or unwilling to return to their old communities once they’ve become successful.

The official video for “My Place” was also uploaded to YouTube on the aforementioned date. If you have not yet seen it, click here or on the image above to check it out, and remember to like, comment, and share.
