Kayafyahouse’s New Album “Mr. Herbsman” Drops On Sept. 25th

Carlos Lopes, better known as Kayafyahouse, is an African artist from the island of Cape Verde, also called Cabo Verde. He migrated to Europe at the age of thirteen and settled in Amsterdam, Holland, where he lives today.

Over the years, Kayafyahouse has racked up countless achievements as both a recording artist and a producer. He shared his first album, Rocky Ways, in 2013; the second, Live Up Natty Dread in 2016; and Jah Rebel in 2019. This was all done while he was producing other African acts. What’s more, he along with his band, The Firehouse Crew, has toured extensively across Europe, and has subsequently built up a committed fanbase.

Fast-forward to 2023, and Kayafyahouse and his team are now readying themselves for the release of his 4th studio album – Mr. Herbsman – scheduled for Monday, September 25th. The eleven-track record will be led by the beautiful roots single, Zoe, which is a tribute to Kayafyahouse‘s granddaughter.
