Maxwell‘s The Night Tour will be making a stop at The Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre in Detroit, Michigan on Friday, July 28th. He will be joined by Canadian singer and songwriter Tamia Marilyn Washington, more popularly known as Tamia.

Maxi Priest, Kenny Lattimore For Long Beach Jazz Fest

Excitement is building in and around Long Beach, California as the 34th annual Long Beach Jazz Festival draws near. The three-day event will take place on August 11th, 12th and 13th, and will feature some of the best live performers in the business.

Confirmed are Maxi Priest, Erin Stevenson, Norman Brown, Kenny Lattimore, Mike Phillips, Kim Scott, Myron McKinley, Najee, Marcus Miller, Will Downing, and many more. Johnny Gill Confirmed For Toronto Jerk Fest- R&B Night

On Friday, August 11th, the four-day TD Toronto Jerk Fest will be all about rhythm and blues. They have dubbed that evening R&B Night and have invited pop star Johnny Gill to perform. Gill is the sixth and final member of the R&B/pop group New Edition and was also a part of the supergroup LSG, with Gerald Levert and Keith Sweat.

Close Off The Month Of July At The “Harlem Festival Of Culture”

The Harlem Festival of Culture, which is inspired by Questlove‘s 2021 critically acclaimed documentary, Summer of Soul, goes down on July 28th, 29th and 30th at Randall’s Island in New York.

Attendees will be treated to indoor and outdoor music concerts, influencer dinners, moderated discussions, and film screenings. There will be live performances by Estelle, Bell Biv Devoe, Nadine Sutherland, Doug E. Fresh, Serani, Cam’Ron, Wayne Wonder, and that is just to name a few.

Approximately one month ago, R&B singer and songwriter Ricco Barrino – who is also the brother of pop star Fantasia – released a modern love song called Lets Dance. The track is published on his own imprint, and is done in collaboration with Fantasia.
