‘Rock The Bells Fest 2023’ Is All Set For August 5th In Queens, NY (@RockTheBells)

The 2023 Rock The Bells Festival will kick off a week of live events in honor of Hip-Hop’s 50th anniversary. It will be held at Forest Hills Stadium in Queens, New York, on Saturday, August 5th.

The extensive lineup includes LL Cool J, DJ Z-Trip, Jungle Brothers, Black Sheep, Brand Nubian, Lost Boyz, Queen Latifah, Monie Love, Ludacris, De La Soul, Slick Rick, Rakim, Salt-N-Pepa, Yo-Yo, Redman, Method Man, Roxanne Shanté, Big Daddy Kane, MC Lyte, MC Sha-Rock, Boot Camp Clik, Swizz Beatz, and Cold Crush Brothers; with more to be announced.

Founder and CEO of Rock The Bells, LL Cool J, has highlighted the cultural significance of the event, emphasizing its role in unifying hip-hop greats and paying tribute to the culture that reshaped the music landscape.

Fantasia & Ricco Barrino Release The Official Video For “Lets Dance”

Approximately one month ago, R&B singer and songwriter Ricco Barrino – who is also the brother of pop star Fantasia – released a modern love song called Lets Dance. The track is published on his own imprint, and is done in collaboration with Fantasia.

The Roots Will Be At College Street Music Hall On July 30

Hip-hop super group, The Roots, will perform live at College Street Music Hall (238 College Street) in New Haven, Connecticut, on Sunday, July 30. This is an all-ages event that’s scheduled to start at 8:30 p.m., and the entrance fee ranges from $45 to $99.

The Roots is one of the most influential and impactful hip-hop collectives of all time. Founded by Tariq ‘Black Thought’ Trotter and Ahmir ‘Questlove’ Thompson, the three-time GRAMMY® Award-winning multiplatinum group went from rapping on Philadelphia street corners all the way to gigs at The White House, a longtime stint as the house band on The Tonight Show, and creating their own annual festival: The Roots Picnic.

Bryann T Drops New Single From His Upcoming Album

On July 4th, Christian rapper Bryann T will be releasing a new album titled Saved & Surrendered. The LP will be published via his independent imprint, Kingdom Muzic, and will feature collaborations with other artists from his camp.

Masters Of The Mic: Hip-Hop 50 Tour

Universal Attractions Agency (UAA), RAMP Entertainment Agency and Mahogany Entertainment, have announced the Masters of The Mic: Hip-Hop 50 Tour starring Big Daddy Kane, Doug E. Fresh, KRS-One, Rakim, and Slick Rick.

The aforementioned performers will be joined by special guests EPMD, Roxanne Shante, DJ Spinderella, and more. Anyone planning to attend any of the concerts should know that the lineup may change for each city, so they should always check their local listings for details.
