Gospel music giant Kirk Franklin, in collaboration with Live Nation Urban, present the 2023 Exodus Music & Arts Festival, on Saturday, May 20th and Sunday, May 21st at The Pavilion (Toyota Music Factory) in Irving, Texas.

The now two-day event will feature performances by some of the biggest names in gospel music: Tamela Mann, Natalie Grant, Taya, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Naomi Raine, Doe, Koryn Hawthorne, and special guest Chandler Moore (on day one).

While on day two they will have Yolanda Adams, Kierra Sheard Kelly, Jekalyn Carr, Pastor Mike Jr., Melvin Crispell III, Adam Blackstone, Notkarltonbanks, and of course Kirk Franklin. Click here for tickets.

Agent Sasco & Petra Kaye Confirmed For The 35th Agri-Expo In St. Mary

On Easter Monday, April 10th, the St. Mary Branch of The Jamaica Agricultural Society will present the 35th staging of St. Mary’s Agri-Expo.

The all day family event is schedule to start at 8am, and will feature performances by dancehall artist Agent Sasco and reggae-gospel singer Petra Kaye.

It will be held at the JP Farms Sports Complex in Grays Inn, St. Mary. The entrance fee is $1,500 JMD for adults and $500 for children.

Trensettahs Sound in collaboration with Judgement Yard present Black Sounds of Freedom Album Listening Party, this Saturday, April 8th at Jr. Reid’s Rooftop Lounge – 39b Eastwood Park Road – in Kingston (JA). There will be performances by Luciano, Mykal Rose, Sizzla, Capleton, Lutan Fyah, Jr. Reid, Jah Thundah, Yatta Ken, Roots Underground and DJ Fyahman.

Rad Dixon Now Available For Bookings & Interviews (@rad_dixon @TasJayProd)

Reggae artist Rad Dixon, who in partnership with Tasjay Productions started the year by releasing his first full length studio album, is now accepting bookings and interview requests for 2023.

The singer is currently in the midst of a mini media tour that will see him Onstage with Winford Williams in the coming weeks. His most recent feature was yesterday – Wednesday, April 5th – on Arawak Radio with DJ Kat (in the UK). All conversations are centered around Dixon‘s LP, Hard Times, and the collaborative hit single – Times Are Hard – done with Luciano.

In late summer / early fall Rad Dixon will be in Toronto for two shows: Manchester Linkup on September 4th and Deco Rose Party on the 12th of November. While on August 26th, he will be in his home town of Hatfield, Manchester (Jamaica) for an event. In between shows and public appearances Rad Dixon is busy working on new music with Anthony B, Horace Martin and Luciano.

In response to the 2020 pandemic, dancehall-gospel artist Minister Blessed wrote an inspirational song titled Bounce Back, which was eventually featured on his latest EP – Glory – released in October 2022.

Celebrate the 21st anniversary of the Soul Beach Music Festival on the gorgeous island of Aruba this Memorial Day weekend: May 26th to 29th. The Soul Beach Music Festival was voted one of the “Top Five Caribbean Celebrations” by USA Today, as well as the #1 “Caribbean Summer Festival” by Jetsetter Magazine.

The full lineup is as follows: Deon Cole and Tiffany Haddish with host Chase Anthony on Friday at the Renaissance Festival Plaza (Oranjestad); The Roots and Anthony Hamilton with host Chris Spencer on Saturday at the Harbor Arena (Oranjestad); and Jill Scott and Lucky Daye with host Chris Spencer on Sunday at the Harbor Arena (Oranjestad). Built as one of the most anticipated pop musicals for 2023, Janet Jackson‘s Together Again Tour is ready, and will kick off on Friday, April 14 at Hard Rock Live – 1 Seminole Way – in Hollywood, Florida.

While she prepped for the tour, Jackson consistently shared behind the scenes pictures and videos from her rehearsals, wardrobe selection etc. This was her way of keeping her fans engaged in the process; a move that has led to strong ticket sales.
