Dru Hill Has 3 Shows At The Bethesda Theater This November

After initially confirming only two shows at the Bethesda Theater (7719 Wisconsin Ave.) in Bethesda, Maryland, R&B group Dru Hill has been forced to add another. To that end, they will now do a total of three back-to-back concerts at the venue.

The men will perform on Friday, November 15 at 8:30 p.m.; Saturday, November 16 at 8:00 p.m.; and Sunday, November 17 at 7:00 p.m. Additional information and links to tickets are available on the venue’s website.

Mary J. Blige Shares New Video “You Ain’t The Only One”

As she is gearing up for the release of her new album “Gratitude,” which is due out on November 15, Mary J. Blige continues to share tracks from the project. The latest is “You Ain’t The Only One.”

Deborah Cox Will Perform At The Bethesda Theater In MD On Nov. 8th

Canadian singer, songwriter, actress, and record producer Deborah Cox will perform at the Bethesda Theater (7719 Wisconsin Avenue) in Maryland on Friday, November 8th. This concert will start at 8:30 p.m. local time.

Over the years, Cox has amassed platinum albums and several number-one R&B and dance hit songs. In addition to her chart-topping records, she has also won several major awards, including the America Music Awards, NAACP Image Awards, Juno Awards, and Soul Train Awards. Click here for tickets.

Bilal Performs At The Lodge Room On Oct. 22nd

Independent recording artist Bilal Sayeed Oliver, known publicly as Bilal, will do a set at the Lodge Room (104 N Ave 56, 2nd floor) in Los Angeles, California, next Tuesday, October 22nd. 

Bilal rose to prominence when he released his debut album “First Born Second” via Interscope Geffen in 2001. The record had three breakout singles: “Soul Sista,” “Fast Lane” (done with Jadakiss and Dr. Dre), and “Second Child.” Click here for tickets to the aforementioned concert.

New Song & Video From Akon “Akon’s Beautiful Day”

Senegalese-American singer-songwriter, record producer, businessman, and philanthropist Akon has released a new single called “Akon’s Beautiful Day,” a remake of Jamaican gospel singer Jermaine Edwards‘ 2014 hit song with the same name.

Lyfe Jennings Has 3 Dates At Blue Note Hawaii Next Weekend

R&B and soul singer-songwriter, record producer, and instrumentalist Lyfe Jennings will be doing six sets at Blue Note (2335 Kalakaua Avenue) in Honolulu, Hawaii, next weekend, October 18-20. On all three dates, he will do two sets, the first at 6:30 p.m. and the other at 9:00 p.m. 

Jennings is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his first album, Lyfe 268-192,” and as such, has just re-shared a rebooted version of his 2004 megahit “Must Be Nice.” He also released its official video, which has a lot of the original actors from the first visual.
