Rhythm-and-blues legends Tyrese and Monica will be headlining the R&B Vibe Tour at Gainbridge Fieldhouse (125 S. Pennsylvania Street) in Indianapolis, Indiana, this Saturday, November 23rd. The lineup, which is subject to change, will also feature 112, Silk, and Dru Hill. This event will start at 7:00 p.m. local time, and tickets can be purchased on Ticketmaster.

Spend An Evening With Fantasia On Dec. 8th

On Sunday, December 8th, singer and actress Fantasia will headline a concert at the Smart Financial Centre (18111 Lexington Blvd) in Sugar Land, Texas. She will have as her special guest fellow vocalist and TV personality, K Michelle.

Tickets, which range from US$74.00 to US$311.00, are being sold on the venue’s website. This is another Black Promoters Collective event.

Nneka To Headline The 2024 Uprising Winter Edition In Slovakia

This year’s Uprising Winter Edition will bring one of the most sought-after female performers to the festival in Bratislava on November 22nd. Thought provoking songwriter and enchanting vocalist Nneka will bring her captivating voice and her strong messages to the Majestic Music Club (Karpatská 3089/2). Her set will be a fusion of reggae, soul and hip-hop.

Other performers include  Ed SoloKaya Fyah & Jessi G-Shellz, as well as the great Catching Cairo, who is returning to Bratislava after a successful presentation at the summer Uprising. Cocoman and Pokyman will represent the local scene. Click here for tickets.

Patti LaBelle’s ‘8065 Tour’ Continues

A few months ago, in the middle of the summer, Patti LaBelle kicked off her 8065 Tour as a way to celebrate 80 years of life and 65 years in the music industry. It has been reported that she is also working on a soon-to-be released album called 8065 and that it will feature a collaboration with her longtime friend Gladys Knight.

RIP Quincy Jones

Legendary music producer Quincy Jones passed over the weekend (on November 3rd) at his home in Los Angeles. The 91-year-old went peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones.

Jones came to prominence in the 1950s as a jazz arranger and conductor before producing pop hit records for Lesley Gore in the early 1960s. He would go on to make music with some of the biggest names in pop culture: Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Ray Charles, Aretha Franklin, Donna Summer, James Ingram, and that is just to name a few.

CeeLo Green To Headline The ‘Tampa Urban Music Festival’

Organizers of the upcoming Tampa Urban Music Festival, scheduled for Saturday, November 2nd, are forecasting a day filled with amazing music, delicious food, and overall good vibes. It will be held at the Water Works Park (1701 North Highland Avenue) in Tampa, Florida, from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. EDT.

Accomplished singer, songwriter, rapper, record producer, and actor CeeLo Green is confirmed as the headlining act. He will be joined by Khalea Lynee, Joewun Bee, J’Nelle, Calluna, Nasja Mone, Taylor Moon, April Showers, and Corrine Oliviia.

Notably, the Tampa Urban Music Festival has joined forces with Rebuilding Together Tampa Bay, so proceeds from the event will go towards relief for those impacted by Hurricane Milton. Get tickets here.
