New Song & Video From Akon “Akon’s Beautiful Day”

Senegalese-American singer-songwriter, record producer, businessman, and philanthropist Akon has released a new single called “Akon’s Beautiful Day,” a remake of Jamaican gospel singer Jermaine Edwards‘ 2014 hit song with the same name.

Lyfe Jennings Has 3 Dates At Blue Note Hawaii Next Weekend

R&B and soul singer-songwriter, record producer, and instrumentalist Lyfe Jennings will be doing six sets at Blue Note (2335 Kalakaua Avenue) in Honolulu, Hawaii, next weekend, October 18-20. On all three dates, he will do two sets, the first at 6:30 p.m. and the other at 9:00 p.m. 

Jennings is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his first album, Lyfe 268-192,” and as such, has just re-shared a rebooted version of his 2004 megahit “Must Be Nice.” He also released its official video, which has a lot of the original actors from the first visual. Macy Gray Has Back-To-Back Shows In California This Month

R&B and soul singer and actress Macy Gray will be doing a total of five back-to-back shows in the state of California this month. The first concert will be on October 16 in Ventura, and the last will be in Petaluma on the 20th. See full schedule below.

MJB Announces ‘For My Fans’ 2025 Tour

At the end of January 2025, Mary J. Blige and special guests NE-YO and Mario will head out on the road for the ‘For My Fans Tour.’ So far there are approximately twenty-seven confirmed dates in the United States, with one in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.

American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special

The American Music Awards (AMAs) are set to commemorate half a century of legendary moments, unforgettable performances, and rich pop culture history with a two-hour broadcast on Sunday, October 6, 2024. It will air concurrently on both coasts at 8:00-10:00 p.m. ET and 5:00-7:00 p.m. PT on the CBS Television Network, with streaming on Paramount+.

The program will feature themed highlights from AMAs’ expansive show archives, each culminating with an original performance or artist interview. Segments will look back on the evolution of specific artists and genres at the AMAs, as well as award and performance milestones. The performers for the American Music Awards 50th Anniversary Special will include Chaka Khan, Gladys Knight, Jennifer Hudson, and Mariah Carey, and that is just to name a few.

Chris Walker & Regina Belle Are Confirmed For This Year’s Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo

Chris Walker and Regina Belle will take the Ziegenbock Music Stage on Wednesday, October 9th, during the Heart O’ Texas Fair & Rodeo to deliver sets that will feature a mix of soul, rhythm-and-blues, and jazz.
