Chandler Moore Parts Ways with Maverick City Music

Chandler Moore is no longer part of Maverick City Music. The news follows reports that both Moore and fellow worship leader Naomi Raine have officially severed ties with the Grammy-winning collective.

On October 6th, Moore shared a heartfelt message on social media expressing gratitude to everyone who supported his journey during his time with Maverick City. His announcement confirmed what many fans had already begun to suspect—the end of a significant chapter in contemporary gospel music.

Billboard later expanded on the story in an October 20th feature, offering more insight into the breakdown of the once-united ensemble. The group, known for its groundbreaking collaborations and raw worship sessions, has clearly faced internal challenges that led to this public split.

It’s unfortunate to see a collective that inspired millions and reshaped modern worship music come apart so publicly. Still, as each member moves forward, fans continue to wish them success and growth in their individual paths.
