Powerhouse Ministries, under the leadership of Senior Pastor Charles Stephenson Jr., will present a special evening of gospel music on Friday, October 17, 2025. The event will feature two gospel powerhouses—Dorinda Clark Cole and John P. Kee, along with the New Life Community Choir. Additional musical guests will also grace the stage.

Reggae-dancehall artist Teflon Young King is set to host the official release party for his latest project, “Life Scriptures,” at Bellyful Restaurant & Bar in Brooklyn, New York. The event takes place on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 6 p.m. to midnight, with a live performance scheduled for 10 p.m.

New ‘Nimba Reggae Festival’ Will Launch in Conakry, Guinea on Sept. 5&6

Kanamacina Records will launch the first-ever Nimba Reggae Festival in Conakry, Guinea, on September 5th and 6th, 2025. The two-day celebration will open at the Radisson Blu Hotel on September 5th and continue on September 6th at the Esplanade Du Palais, with performances beginning at 2 p.m. each day.

The inaugural staging will bring together a powerful lineup of reggae and African music stars. Confirmed acts include Takana Zion, Ky-Mani Marley, Richie Spice, Jah Mason, Jah Thunder, Jaz Elise, Warrior King, Little Robert, Didier Awadi, Naftaly, Tiwony, and Fish Killa.

With its diverse roster and blend of local and international talent, the Nimba Reggae Festival is set to become a landmark event for music lovers in West Africa.

King Yellowman’s September Show Dates

Since late July, dancehall King Yellowman has been on tour. He began with a couple of shows in São Paulo, Brazil, before making his way back to the United States. In September, he has three scheduled performances, all of which will take place in state of Colorado.

On Monday, September 1, he will perform at The Aggie Theatre in Fort Collins, followed by a set at The Black Sheep Club in Colorado Springs on September 5. The tour will conclude on Saturday, September 6, at the 23rd Annual Soul Rebel Festival in Denver.

Jesse Royal Releases New Album, “No Place Like Home”

Seattle Reggae Nights returns for its 30th edition on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Nectar Lounge, 412 N 36th Street in Seattle. The milestone event, presented by Boogie Brown Productions and Nectar, will showcase an unforgettable evening of roots and culture.

Headlining the night is reggae icon Clinton Fearon alongside his Boogie Brown Band, delivering their signature sound to the heart of Seattle. They will be joined by Dub Lounge International and DJ Kingstown Sounds, adding depth and energy to the lineup.
