Wyah’s Story

Wyah – (Born Dwain Campbell) and raised in the community of Belfield, St. Mary, Jamaica. Wyah‘s musical journey was destined from the very beginning. Growing up in a deeply musical family where singing and instruments were part of everyday life, he developed a natural passion for sound and rhythm that would later shape his global career.

Wyah’s musical foundation was strengthened during his years at St. Mary High School, where his love for performance and musicianship flourished. He later attended the Edna Manley College of the Visual and Performing Arts / Jamaica School of Music, where he honed his craft and adopted the name Wyah. During this period, he also became one of the founding members of the acclaimed C Sharp Band, a group formed at Edna Manley College that helped define his early professional path and reputation as a versatile musician.

Over the years, Wyah has evolved into an international recording artist, music producer, musician, songwriter, and engineer, earning respect across multiple genres and stages worldwide. His artistry and professionalism have led him to collaborate—both onstage and in the studio—with an extraordinary list of global icons and influential voices, including John Legend, Jimmy Cliff, Rita Marley, Tarrus Riley, Alaine, Shenseea, Marsha Ambrosius (Floetry), Tony Rebel, Brick & Lace, Busy Signal, Joseph Hill (Culture), Burning Spear, Etana, Queen Ifrica, Romain Virgo, Warrior King, Daville, Kim Burrell, Fred Hammond, Travis Greene, Donnie McClurkin, Israel Houghton, Kierra Sheard, Deitrick Haddon, Kevin Downswell, Chevelle Franklin, and many more across reggae, gospel, soul, and contemporary music.

Marley Family to Gather for Jo Mersa Marley Celebration in Kingston

The Roaring Lion presents a special staging of Old Soul Live Unplugged with internationally acclaimed reggae artist Stephen Marley on March 14, 2026, at the iconic Bob Marley Museum, located at 56 Hope Road in Kingston. Gospel music lovers and church communities are invited to experience worship on the waters with ChoirFest At Sea, hosted by Grammy Award-winning artist Hezekiah Walker. The seven-night cruise sails December 5–12, 2026, offering a unique blend of praise, fellowship and Caribbean travel.
