Turkey Day Gospel Explosion Set for November 23 at Alabama State University

Alabama State University is gearing up to present the Turkey Day Gospel Explosion on Sunday, November 23, 2025, at the Dunn-Oliver Acadome, located at 915 S. Jackson Street in Montgomery, Alabama.

All Vinyl Dancehall Event Set for Toronto on November 22

Supreme Genes and Saturday Night Rockers are teaming up to present All Vinyl, an authentic sound system dancehall session, happening on Saturday, November 22, at BSMT 254 (254 Lansdowne Avenue) in Toronto, Ontario.

The event will feature live performances from Jamaican stars Junior Cat, also known as the Wild Apache, and veteran foundation singer Little John, alongside Colonel Lloydie. Representing Canada’s reggae roots are JUNO Award winners Kirk Diamond and Godfadda Finn — a powerhouse artist and producer/DJ duo celebrated for their conscious reggae sound and captivating stage presence.

True to its name, All Vinyl will honor traditional sound system culture with music played exclusively on 45s and dubplates — no laptops, no USBs. Sound systems Higher Heights and Pressure Drop will provide the musical energy, with Lord Fury serving as host for the night.

The gathering will be hosted at Emmanuel Apostolic Church, located at 12 Slipe Road in Kingston. Alongside Jai Kingston, the evening will feature appearances by Bishop T and Dawn Martin-Panton. The church’s own ministries will be prominently showcased, including their Mass Choir, Youth Choir, Children’s Choir, Dance Ministry, Sign Language Ministry, and Speech Ministry.
