Wayne Wonder Dominates the “WYFL Riddim” with “Informer 2.0”

Veteran dancehall icon Wayne Wonder has stamped his authority on the buzzing “WYFL Riddim,” delivering a standout contribution that is resonating strongly with fans of authentic dancehall.

While many of the tracks featured on the riddim showcase newly written material, Wayne Wonder takes a different approach by revisiting his 1990s hit “Informer.” Reimagined as “Informer 2.0,” the updated version introduces a fresh dynamic with a feature from Supriz, blending nostalgia with a modern edge.

The reworked track fits seamlessly onto the “WYFL Riddim,” with Wayne Wonder’s smooth vocals effortlessly riding the beat. His delivery not only preserves the essence of the original but elevates it, creating an infectious listening experience that stands tall among the newer releases.

Complementing the single is a visually engaging music video, further enhancing the impact of the song and solidifying its presence within the riddim’s growing popularity.

With “Informer 2.0,” Wayne Wonder proves once again why he remains a formidable force in dancehall, delivering what many are already calling one of the strongest tracks on the “WYFL Riddim.”

Redrose and Lindo Call for Compassion Over Wealth on New Single “Stop Put Money Over Life”

On the track “Stop Put Money Over Life,” veteran reggae singers Anthony Redrose and Hopeton Lindo deliver a timely message advocating for greater compassion and a shift away from an overemphasis on wealth driven by greed.

Co-written by the two artists, the song is produced by Redrose under his Raggedy Joe label and was released on March 27, 2026. Speaking on the inspiration behind the track, Redrose described it as a wake-up call, emphasizing that life extends beyond the pursuit of money and material possessions. Instead, he highlighted the importance of how individuals treat one another, noting that the love one gives will ultimately be returned.

Redrose also shared that the decision to collaborate once again with Lindo was influenced by the strong reception to their previous joint effort, “A Different Christmas.” That single was released in 2023 as part of the “Feel It Christmas” EP, produced by Lindo through his Irie Pen Records imprint.

“Stop Put Money Over Life” further benefits from the contributions of iconic musicians Sly Dunbar, HandelTucker, and Dean Fraser, adding depth and musical richness to the production.

Both Lindo and Redrose emerged on Jamaica’s music scene in the 1980s, honing their craft on the Kingston sound system circuit. Their longstanding friendship dates back to their early days at the Waterhouse studio of legendary producer/engineer King Tubby, and has remained strong over the decades.

Anthony Redrose is widely recognized for songs such as “Under Mi Fat Ting,” “Tempo,” and “Intimate,” while Hopeton Lindo is known for hit singles including “Territory,” “Silent Consent,” and “Lonely Night.”
