Anthony B, King Yellowman & Others For ‘Sunshine Reggae Fest’ In Orlando

Organizers of The Rum & Reggae Festival have merged it with the upcoming Sunshine Reggae Fest, happening on Saturday, November 4th, at the Apopka Amphitheater – 3710 Jason Dwelley Parkway – in Apopka, Florida.

What this means is that the Rum & Reggae Festival will now become a VIP section within the larger Sunshine Reggae Fest. That said, Rum & Reggae Festival ticket holders will be granted access to this exclusive zone.

All attendees will be treated to authentic Caribbean dishes: from jerk chicken and corn soup, to rice and peas and curry goat. As for music, there will be live performances by Anthony B, King Yellow Man, Nadine Sutherland, Little John, Ras Takura, and Propaganjah. Tickets can be purchased from Eventbrite.

Little Hero’s Earthstrong Celebration Is Set For Nov. 5th In Discovery Bay, St. Ann

Veteran reggae artist Little Hero will be celebrating his earth-strong on Sunday, November 5th, at the Discovery Bay Sports Complex in St. Ann, Jamaica. The all day event will commence at 10:00am, and will feature everything from football and netball matches, to merry-go-round and bounce-about for the kids.

It goes without saying that there will also be a massive stage show! Luciano, Louie Culture, Charly Black, Terry Linen, Zamunda, Singer J, PZ, and host of other artists will join Hero on stage. Regular admission at the gate (after 5:00pm) is $2,000 JMD, while VIP is $2,500. Children under twelve will only pay $500.
