Big Feet Records Preps 1st Release For 2024 “Warrior King – People Of This World”

After a successful 2023, which saw Josh Harris and his team at Big Feet Records releasing new music with the likes of Fantan Mojah, Duane Stephenson, Macka B, Ce’Cile, Bushman, Natural Black and Lutan Fyah, the California based producer is making it clear that he intends to continue on the same path in 2024.

That said, come January 5th, Big Feet Records will share their first release for the new calendar year: People Of This World, written and performed by Warrior King

King rose to prominence in 2001, when his single “Virtuous Woman” became an international hit. Ever since then, the Kingstonian has remained relevant by giving his fans and supporters quality message-music inspired by social issues and his Rastafarian faith. Some of his most notable singles are: “Hold Da Faith” (2005), “My Life” (2005), “Can’t Get Me Down” (2005), “Wanna Give You Love” (2009), “Never Go Where Pagans Go” (2002), and the aforementioned “Virtuous Woman” (2001).

The audio for People Of This World will be accompanied by an official video, which was also directed, shot, and edited by the Big Feet Records team.

Did You Know That Talib Kweli Just Dropped A Christmas Album?

Brooklyn-based MC, Talib Kweli, who has been labelled as one of the most lyrically-gifted, socially aware, and politically insightful rappers to emerge in the last 20 years, has given us, hip-hop lovers, a seven-track album for Christmas.

Titled Holy Daze, the record has a few gems that’s definitely worth checking out. As a matter of fact, aside from track-six, which is a beautiful instrumental, and track number 7, which comes across as the project’s outro, all the other songs are solid hip-hop records. Additionally, all the beats are considered authentic rap rhythms.

Producers that have worked on this record are: Juni Ali, Nottz, Oh No, and the man himself, Talib Kweli. As of this writing, Holy Daze is only available on Bandcamp, and Kweli‘s own website kweliclub-dot-com.
