Dollarman’s “We Belong” Is Now #2 On NY’s Reggae Chart

After fifteen weeks on The Foundation Radio Network NY Chart, Dollarman‘s trending single, We Belong, is now sitting in the #2 spot, second only to YG Marley‘s Praise Jah In The Moonlight. The updated chart, which was compiled by Clinton Lindsay, was published this past Friday, May 3rd.

We Belong came out at the beginning of the year (on January 1st). It’s a lovers-rock reggae track that was produced by both Dollarman and respected producer and musician Bernard Joseph. The song is being praised in part because of Dollarman‘s distinctive voice, skillful songwriting, and the clever way in which he tells the story. On a steady one-drop reggae rhythm, he pours out his heart to his love interest, explaining that despite all their ups and downs, they belong together.

If you haven’t done so as yet, stream and/or download We Belong on iTunes, Deezer, Apple Music, Spotify, and all other streaming platforms.

Recap Of Bushman’s Recent Shows

After wrapping up the month of March with a strong set at The Garden in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, Bushman returned to Jamaica with only a few days to spare before heading to Trinidad for the 1 Love Experience Concert. The show, which also featured Warrior King, Louie Culture, and Glen Washington, was held at Queen’s Park Savannah in Port of Spain on Saturday, April 13.

Because he has two sisters, nieces, and nephews that reside in Trinidad, Bushman has always viewed the dual-island Caribbean nation as a second home. As such, he delivered an energetic performance that was well received by the audience, who in turn reciprocated his exuberance.

On the 19th, he joined Ron Muschette at Blue Hole Mineral Spring in Brighton, Westmoreland for their 420 celebration. The following day (April 20th), was the inaugural staging of Bushman‘s own BushBash 420 Festival in Ocho Rios. Going forward, this will be an annual live music event that will also be centered on the medicinal and spiritual uses of cannabis.

The Nyahman closed off the month with a birthday show at the Red Carpet Restaurant in Morant Bay on April 23rd, a day after his actual born-day.
