New Music Video From The “Natural Vibes Riddim”

In the first quarter of 2024, Reggae Vibes Music, the Jamaican record label with offices in New York, Atlanta, and Kingston, shared the “Natural Vibes Riddim.” Initially, the album only featured Busy Signal, Jah Cure, Turbulence, Pressure Busspipe, Powerman, Lutan Fyah, Kurtiouss, Jay Shephard, Rufftop Rock I, and Ginjah. However, subsequent to the release, they added Kenyan singer Cathy Matete, Chilean reggae sing-jay Balaguero, and Jamaican recording artists Dreama and Menny More.

The “Natural Vibes Riddim” has been aptly described as a compilation of hits! Every song has, and continues to enjoy, steady rotation on reggae platforms worldwide. A couple of the tracks have even gotten visuals, which has contributed to the rhythm’s consistent presence in the media. The latest music video from the “Natural Vibes Riddim” is for Jay Shephard‘s “Higher.” Shot and edited by Brice Media Films Entertainment, the clip premiered on Reggaeville’s YouTube channel on February 18, 2025.

Jay Shephard is an established reggae-dancehall artist from Nassau, Bahamas. Although he has an extensive catalogue, both he and his longtime supporters agree that “Higher” is special because it was recorded after he survived a gunshot to his face. Also, according to Shephard, prior to being shot, he was not able to sing. So in an ironic twist, something that was meant to end his life (being shot) has actually added to his life by giving him a skill he did not have before.

All songs on the “Natural Vibes Riddim” are available on streaming platforms, and the music videos for Jah Cure‘s “How Can I Explain,”Kurtiouss‘ “This Love For You,” and now Jay Shephard‘s “Higher” can be viewed on YouTube.
