City Winery Boston is set to host a night of hip-hop excellence as AZ, accompanied by the legendary DJ Doo Wop, takes the stage on Friday, December 19th at 7:30 p.m. With doors opening at 5:30 p.m., fans will be treated to an evening that honors one of the most underrated voices in rap as AZ celebrates 30 years of his iconic debut album, “Doe or Die”.

In 1995, AZ released “Doe or Die”, a debut that earned widespread critical acclaim and solidified his standing in hip-hop. The album achieved considerable commercial success, peaking at No. 15 on the Billboard 200 and producing the hit single “Sugar Hill.” Three decades later, “Doe or Die” remains a defining work within the genre, praised for its smooth delivery, streetwise narratives, and lyrical sophistication.

Legendary hip-hop duo Dead Prez will bring their Let’s Get Free 25th Anniversary Tour to Los Angeles on Wednesday, December 10. The performance takes place at the Lodge Room, located at 104 N Avenue 56 (2nd floor), where fans of all ages are invited to experience one of the most politically charged and inspiring albums in hip-hop history.

Iconic rap duo Black Star, comprised of Yasiin Bey (formerly known as Mos Def) and Talib Kweli, are set to return to the United Kingdom this November for a special three-night tour celebrating 30 years of musical excellence.
