The visual for Turbulence’s latest single, “Call Me,” is out now!

On March 20th, Pandemic Records & Entertainment LLC announced the release of a new single by the internationally acclaimed artist, Turbulence, titled “Call Me.” This lively reggae track is infused with a vibrant and subtly sensual lovers-rock theme. It centers on Turbulence‘s efforts to entice his romantic interest to connect with him, particularly when she seeks intimate companionship.

After the song went live, the team at Pandemic Records shared excerpts of the official music videoTurbulence further teased its release by stating, “Gonna be lit stay tuned one pandemic.”

The video is now available and exceeds expectations, offering a visually captivating and evocative experience. Directed by Richard Davis and edited by Christopher Daley, the visual for “Call Me” resembles a mini film, revealing a different aspect of the Rastafarian artist Turbulence.

When it was first shared, “Call Me” was widely regarded as an exceptionally engaging track. With the video now accessible, we eagerly anticipate public feedback on what is arguably Turbulence‘s most provocative visual presentation to date.

Junior Kelly Announces Mini UK Stint For May 2025

In the month of May, reggae recording artist Junior Kelly, who has given us hits like “Love so Nice,” “Protection,” etc., will do a short stint in the United Kingdom. He will be joined by dancehall artist Nation Boss and others.

On May 23rd, Kelly will perform at the Jamyah Centre in Bradford; the following day, on the 24th, he will be at the Secret Arena in Birmingham, and on the final day, May 25th, Junior Kelly will wrap up the tour in London at a venue not yet announced.

GBM Nutron & Lyrikal Will Be In Jamaica For Xodus Carnival 2025

Trini-soca singer GBM Nutron and one of soca’s most consistent and versatile artists, Lyrikal, will perform at Jamaica’s 2025 Carnival. Both men are confirmed for events being presented by Xodus Carnival.

GBM Nutron will headline their Fete Gala, which takes place on Wednesday, April 23rd at the National Stadium, while Lyrikal will take center stage at Remedy on the 26th, also at the National Stadium. Jonathan McReynolds Joins Anthony Brown At This Month’s Church In The Club

American urban contemporary gospel artist and musician Anthony Brown is determined to bring the message of Christ to the people wherever they may be. To that end, he is bringing back his somewhat controversial series, Church in the Club, with more praise, more worship, and more guests. 

Last month, he and Group Therapy raised the roof of the Bethesda Theatre, and this time around they are planning to take it off. On Saturday, April 12th, Anthony Brown & Group Therapy will return to Bethesda Theatre (7719 Wisconsin Avenue, in  Bethesda, Maryland), but on this occasion, they will be joined by Grammy-winning gospel musician Jonathan McReynolds.

Tickets for this highly anticipated event are going fast. All the box seats directly in front of the stage have already been sold, however, those on both the left and right of the box are still available. 

The doors for Church in the Club will open at 6:00 pm and showtime is at 8:00 pm.

Catch Rakim At The Bethesda Theater On April 18

On Friday, April 18, 2025, legendary emcee Rakim will perform at the Bethesda Theater—7719 Wisconsin Avenue—in Bethesda, Maryland. This is an 8:30pm show that will feature opening tracks by DJ Zu Crates of Soul.

It is expected that Rakim will perform hits from his debut solo album, “The 18th Letter,” released in the last quarter of 1997 via Universal Records. Click here for tickets.

Anthony B Will Be At HopMonk Tavern In Sebastopol On 4/20

In honor of 4/20, International Cannabis Day, West Coast event promoter Reggae Vibes will present a special performance by Anthony B at HopMonk Tavern, which is located at 230 Petaluma Avenue in Sebastopol, California.

This is an all-ages concert that will also feature guest deejays, other performers, and lots of surprises. The doors will open at 5pm local time, and tickets are available on wl.seetickets.us/HopMonkSebastopol.

Bounty, Beenie & Sizzla Confirmed For Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival 2025

Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival is one of the few major multi-genre, annual, live music events in the Caribbean. This year it will run from April 30th to May 11th at various locations on the eastern Caribbean island of St. Lucia.

Musical styles that will be presented include soca, reggae-dancehall, gospel, rhythm-and-blues, country, soul, afrobeat, world music, funk, gospel, and of course, jazz.

Three of Jamaica’s most esteemed artists—Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, and Sizzla Kalonji—are confirmed and will perform. Sizzla‘s set will be on opening night, April 30th, at Mindoo Philip Park in Castries, while Beenie Man and Bounty Killer are scheduled for Friday, May 9th, at the Pigeon Island National Landmark in Gros Islet.
