Hopeton Lindo Releases Powerful New EP “A Miracle”

Veteran Jamaican reggae singer, songwriter and producer Hopeton Lindo returns with his deeply personal new six-track EP, “A Miracle,” a reflective body of work that explores faith, gratitude, hope and mental health through the lens of reggae and gospel-influenced music.

Released through Irie Pen Records, the EP opens with its powerful title track, “A Miracle,” featuring a prayerful arrangement complemented by the distinctive background vocals of reggae icons Brian & Tony Gold. The song establishes the project’s central message of faith, while the remaining tracks continue to explore themes of spiritual strength, personal reflection and perseverance.

The project also features “Believe,” “Cover Me,” “Walking Miracle,” “Mental Health Awareness” and “Testify.” “Cover Me” is particularly noteworthy as a rare collaboration between Lindo and his son, adding a family dimension to the record. Meanwhile, “Mental Health Awareness,” featuring veteran dancehall artist Anthony Malvo, addresses the importance of recognizing and confronting mental health challenges.

The EP’s authentic reggae sound is anchored by an accomplished team of veteran musicians. The instrumentation features the work of renowned musicians Paul Gauntlett, Robbie Lyn and JonFX, while harmonies and background vocals are supplied by Brian & Tony Gold, Fiona and ShaunaDazzle.

A powerhouse team of engineers and production professionals also contributed to the project, including the Heavybeat Crew, Anthony Graham, Rorey Baker, Sylvester Gordon, Nicholas Gibson (Dream Billz) and Ayinde Lindo. Their combined expertise helps give “A Miracle” its warm, organic and contemporary reggae sound.

Lindo‘s own musical history adds further significance to the project. Having begun recording in the late 1970s, he has worked with some of Jamaica’s most respected producers, musicians and labels and established himself not only as a recording artist but also as a prolific songwriter whose compositions have been recorded by some of reggae and dancehall’s biggest names.

With “A Miracle,” however, Lindo turns the spotlight inward, delivering a project rooted less in commercial expectations and more in personal testimony and encouragement.

“A Miracle” is available now on major digital streaming platforms.
