Hezekiah Walker Center to Host Juneteenth Concert Headlined by Shirley Caesar

The Hezekiah Walker Center for Gospel Music at Virginia Union University (VUU) will present a Juneteenth Concert on June 20th at 12PM, held at Barco-Stevens Lawn, 1500 N. Lombardy Street, Richmond, Virginia. The event is themed “Honoring Freedom – Celebrating Faith – Inspiring Unity.”

Gospel legend Shirley Caesar will appear as a special guest, joining the VUU Gospel Choir. The concert is sponsored by Anthem HealthKeepers Plus, offered by HealthKeepers, Inc., under the Virginia Medicaid Plan, and is presented in partnership with Virginia Union University.

Freedom Celebration Coming to Albuquerque on June 27

Albuquerque is gearing up for a major free outdoor concert event this summer. The Freedom Celebration will take place at Balloon Fiesta Park on Friday, June 27, with doors opening at 4 PM.

Performing at the event is gospel artist Chandler Moore, known for his powerful worship sets and songwriting contributions with Maverick City Music. He will be joined by acclaimed rapper and business man Lecrae, country-gospel artist Ben Fuller, and Rave Jesus.

Kravis Center Announces BeBe Winans Gospel Gala for June 13

Six-time Grammy Award-winning gospel singer BeBe Winans is scheduled to headline a Gospel Gala on June 13, 2026 at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts in West Palm Beach, Florida. The event will take place inside the Alexander W. Dreyfoos Concert Hall as part of the Kravis Center’s Community Outreach series.

iD Conference Presents “Level Up”: A Weekend of Worship, Leadership, and Growth

iD Conference is set to host “Level Up” from Friday, May 29 through Sunday, May 31 at the FCC Worship Center, located at 900 Watkins Park Drive in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. Centered on the theme “Lead Yourself. Lead Others. Let Christ Lead You,” the weekend promises to be a transformative experience for young adults and leaders looking to deepen their faith and sharpen their character.

The weekend kicks off on Friday, May 29 with “Release,” an evening worship experience beginning at 6:30 PM. GRAMMY-nominated recording artist Todd Galberth will serve as special guest, setting a powerful and dynamic tone for the days ahead.

Saturday, May 30 is dedicated entirely to leadership development, with the full-day Leadership Conference running from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM. Through general sessions, relationship-centered breakout discussions for singles and couples, and guided networking opportunities, attendees will engage with leadership principles directly applicable to everyday life.

The conference concludes on Sunday, May 31 with the Young Adult 5th Sunday worship services at 8:00 AM, 10:00 AM, and Noon. The closing services are designed to send attendees forward with encouragement to apply what they have learned and continue growing beyond the conference weekend.

The Melonia Waugh Shining Hope Foundation Jamaica Limited presents a Benefit Gospel Concert dedicated to empowering the next generation. DFW Choirs Gather for Freedom Vibes 2026

Fidelity Investments will present Freedom Vibes: Celebration of Choirs on Sunday, June 14, 2026, at 4:00 PM at The Potter’s House of Fort Worth. The event forms part of the National Juneteenth Museum’s Freedom Vibes Festival and will spotlight the enduring influence of gospel music, sacred harmony, and community fellowship within Black history and culture.

Hosted by acclaimed gospel artist and Fort Worth native Kirk Franklin, the Celebration of Choirs will pay tribute to the spiritual foundations and musical traditions that have inspired generations throughout the ongoing journey toward freedom and empowerment.

The program will feature performances from several choirs and gospel groups representing the Dallas–Fort Worth area, including Antioch Fellowship Church of Dallas, DFW Mass Legacy Choir, Trinity Harvest Church of Hurst, Mount Olive Church of Fort Worth, Demarcus Williams and the CREW of Fort Worth, and Grace Temple Seventh Day Adventist Church of Fort Worth.

Nate Martin & SIGN Prepare for Major Live Worship Recording Event in Chicago

Award-winning gospel collective Nate Martin & SIGN are preparing to bring Chicago’s worship community together for “Homecoming: A Live Worship Album Recording,” scheduled for Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Greenwood Oasis (7621 South Greenwood Avenue).

The evening will begin with a community tailgate at 5:00 PM, followed by the live album recording at 6:00 PM. Organizers are offering free general admission, while limited VIP access is available through Eventbrite.

The production will feature appearances from Rich Tolbert Jr., Rodney Iler & G.E., Carsie Barnes IV & Favored Friday Chicago, GMAC Mass Choir, and hosts Yashawn Mitchell and Sonya Blakey.
