Praise 102.5 has announced the official lineup for “The Original Praise in the Park,” a gospel music festival set to take place on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at the Wolf Creek Amphitheater in Atlanta, Georgia.

The event brings together an extensive roster of gospel and inspirational artists, including Mary Mary, John P. Kee, and David & Tamela Mann. They will be joined by Anthony Brown and Group TherAPy, Lisa Knowles-Smith and The Brown Singers, Canton Jones, Adia, and Vashawn Mitchell & Friends.

Rounding out the bill are Dwight Stone and Friends, Joann Rosario, Jor’Dann Armstrong, Lee Vasi, Nia Allen, and Jai & Q. Parker.

The concert is presented by Praise 102.5 in partnership with Variety Entertainment and the City of South Fulton’s Wolf Creek Amphitheater.

Gospel artist Alicia Taylor will celebrate the release of her new album, Time and Chance, with a special live recording and album launch event on Saturday, October 3, 2026, at 5:30 PM. The event will take place at Swallowfield Chapel, 9 Swallowfield Road, Kingston.

Grambling State University (GSU) will launch its 2026 Homecoming Week on Monday, September 28, with a special concert headlined by Grammy and Stellar Award-winning Gospel powerhouse Le’Andria Johnson. The event also marks the beginning of the university’s historic 125th “Multiversary” celebration.

The concert will take place at T.H. Harris Auditorium on Reed Street. Doors open at 6:00 PM, with the show scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM. The kickoff concert launches a full week of Homecoming activities running through October 3. Highlights include the Official Homecoming Concert on Friday, October 2 at the Hobdy Assembly Center, followed by the Homecoming Parade along Main Street on Saturday, October 3 at 10:00 AM. The week will conclude with the G-Men taking on Alcorn State University at Eddie G. Robinson Memorial Stadium at 2:00 PM on October 3.

Resurgence: Night of Worship takes place on October 2 at 7 p.m. at the National Church of God, 6701 Bock Road in Fort Washington, Maryland. The evening features Todd Galberth, Jekalyn Carr, JJ Hairston & Youthful Praise, Kierra Sheard-Kelly, and Todd Dulaney.

The event is hosted in partnership with Prince George’s County Council leadership, Council Chair Krystal Oriadha (District 7) and Council Member Edward Burroughs III (District 8), underscoring the county’s interest in community-centered events that bring residents together.

Eighteen-time Grammy winner CeCe Winans will headline the Come Worship Tour, which opens October 8 in Cincinnati and closes October 30 in Jacksonville, with 16 arena stops across the Midwest, South and Southeast.

Billed as “a night of worship for all generations,” the tour is designed to bring together audiences of every age, ethnicity and denomination. Winans will be joined by special guest Charity Gayle, whose songs “Thank You Jesus for the Blood” and “I Speak Jesus” are now staples in churches worldwide. Rising worship collective Red Worship and vocalist Terrian round out the lineup.

Each evening is planned as a shared worship gathering that blends beloved classics with modern worship favorites and unscripted moments of prayer and praise. Winans has said she hopes people of all ages will feel welcome and leave encouraged, and that communities will set aside their differences to worship together.

Cities on the tour include St. Louis, Tulsa, Fort Worth, Cleveland, Norfolk, Greenville, Birmingham, New Orleans, Orlando, Tampa and Jacksonville. Shows begin at 7:00 PM. Nathan Davis Jr. brings the positive message of his inspirational single “Woke Up This Morning” to life with the song’s official video, which premiered on his YouTube channel on September 18, 2026.

The bright and energetic visual follows Davis Jr. through what can only be described as a great day. In keeping with the song’s title, the video begins with him waking up, praying, brushing his teeth and getting dressed before heading out. Along the way, he encounters people on the street and spontaneously breaks into a choreographed dance routine.

Directed by world-renowned choreographer Jose “Hollywood” Ramos, the video eventually takes Davis Jr. to a park, where he attracts the attention of several people. A crowd soon gathers as he performs “Woke Up This Morning,” with everyone joining in, vibing to the music and enjoying the moment.

Matching the uplifting energy of the song, the colorful visual reinforces its central message: life is better with God.

Northern Caribbean University (NCU) will welcome gospel lovers to its Gymnatorium on Saturday, September 26, for EZER: A Gospel Experience of Purpose, an evening of worship and music that also supports students and the university community.

The concert is headlined by celebrated gospel artistes Johnmark Wiggan and Petra-Kay. They will be joined by Gamel Grant, the Lumsden Sisters, Osanna Praise, Humble, Testify, Hilkiah Jones, Carey Sayles and Key Influence Ministries. David Pryce and Chantell Guthrie will serve as MCs.

Gates open at 6:30 p.m., and the concert begins at 7:30 p.m. The NCU Gymnatorium is located on Manchester Road in Mandeville.
