Romain Virgo Ft. On Mellow Mood’s New Single “Pull Up”

Italian reggae group Mellow Mood has just shared the lead single from their upcoming album. The track, titled “Pull Up,” is a collaboration done with Jamaican singer Romain Virgo, who delivered a strong heartfelt verse on the bouncy reggae rhythm.

Did You Know That Ziggy Marley Is Ft. On Yemi Alade’s “Rebel Queen” Album?

A lot of people may not be aware that reggae legend Ziggy Marley is featured on “Rebel Queen,” the 2024 album released by Nigerian pop star Yemi Alade. Marley and Alade collaborated on track #11—Peace & Love—a reggae record that, as the name suggests, promotes unity and tenderness.

“Rebel Queen” came out on July 26 via Effyzzie Music label, the imprint to which Yemi Alade is signed. Ziggy Marley is not the only Jamaican on the project; she also did a song with Konshens called “Baddie.”

Cudjoe Salute

The Windward / Leeward Maroons will present an event called ‘Cudjoe Salute’ from February 27th to March 1st, 2025. As the name implies, this affair was conceptualized to honor and celebrate the life and works of Captain Cudjoe, one of the greatest of the Maroon leaders. 

‘Cudjoe Salute’ will be held at the Maroon Town Community Center in St. James (Jamaica) and it will feature some of reggae’s most prominent Rastafarian artists. Confirmed are Sizzla, Ras Shiloh, Anthony B, Andrew Tosh, Bushman, Turbulence, Pressure Busspipe, I Wayne, Miriam Simone, Isha Bel, and that is just to name a few. 

Children are allowed free entrance, while adults will have to pay J$1,000.

Tarrus Riley Wants Us To “Love Again”

Tarrus Riley‘s latest addition to his impressive music catalog is a compelling tune titled “Love Again.” On this one, Mr. Singy Singy as he is affectionately called, shines a bright light on a real worldwide issue: the obvious lack of love.

Riley sings about the absence of deep affection in various types of relationships: siblings, parent and child, intimate partners, friendships, etc. The timely record was produced by Stephen “Di Genius” McGregor and was released via Di Genius Production on February 7th, 2025.

Iba Mahr, Capleton, Sizzla & Turbulence For ‘Reggae Fusion’

In keeping with the annual Reggae Month celebration, four Rastafarian recording artists will take center stage at Reggae Jamaica Village on Saturday, February 2025. Reggae Jamaica Village is located on Church Road in Bog Walk, St. Catherine.

The previously mentioned artists are Capleton, the fireman; Turbulence, the future; Iba Mahr, the young sensation; and Sizzla Kalonji. Presold tickets, which can be purchased on xticketz.com, are available for J$3,000. At the gate it will be J$4,000.

Chuck Fenda, Loyal Flames & Others For ‘Reggae On The Beach’ In St. Vincent

On Saturday, March 8, 2025, Boss Lady Laura Entertainment in association with D.A.C presents Reggae on the Beach, a live reggae concert at Pier 1 – Beach Club & Restaurant in St. Vincent & the Grenadines.

There will be performances by Chuck Fenda, Loyal Flames, Xkhraig, Gillo, and Jo Archer, with support from backing band Hi-Profile. Furthermore, selectors Tankup Bros, Domo Roberts, King Jace, Vyper X, Tornado, and Swagga are all confirmed to play.
