Renowned reggae singer, songwriter and producer Hopeton Lindo has announced the upcoming release of his six-song EP, A Miracle. The somber, gospel-influenced project is produced by Irie Pen Records and will be distributed globally through Zojak Worldwide.

Known for co-writing iconic party anthems like J.C. Lodge’s “Telephone Love”,Buju Banton‘s “Wanna Be Loved”, and Shabba Ranks‘ “Mr. Loverman”, as well as solely penning Gregory Isaacs‘ timeless romantic ballad “Red Rose for Gregory”, Lindo pivots toward a more intimate, reflective space on this record. The project serves as an emotional testimony of resilience and gratitude, written to uplift listeners navigating their own hardships.

Grammy-nominated reggae artist Jemere Morgan will headline “Rhythms & The Summer Breeze,” an all-inclusive Caribbean-themed gathering taking place Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Cityview Rooftop Event Space & Lounge in College Point, New York.

Stur-Gav Promotion will present “Wake the Town & Tell the People” on September 19, 2026, at Cling Cling Oval, off Olympic Way in Kingston 11. The event will celebrate the life and legacy of legendary Jamaican deejay Daddy U-Roy.

The free-admission party will bring together a strong lineup of reggae veterans and invited artists, including Josey Wales, Little Twitch, Natty Pablo, Little John, Nitty Kutchie, Dean Fraser, U Brown, Carlton Livingston, Mandy Moore and others. Lisa Simone is also scheduled to appear as a special guest, while Johnny Nash and Sitladeen are listed as guest selectors.

Black Uhuru will return to Moe’s Alley in Santa Cruz, California, on Saturday, September 12, 2026.

Reggae music will take over Montreal on Sunday, September 6, 2026, when the Reggae Nation Festival takes place at the Grand Quai du Port de Montréal in the city’s historic Old Port.

The festival will feature legendary roots reggae singer Burning Spear and acclaimed dancehall artist Sizzla as leading names on the lineup. They will be joined by Charly Black, Tanto Metro & Devonte, Jah Cutta, Sereni-T, Little Thunder and Energy Squad.
