Chanté Moore’s ‘Sway & Slay Tour’ Kicks Off On December 18

American singer-songwriter, television personality, and author, Chanté Torrane Moore – known publicly as simply Chanté Moore – will do a U.S. nationwide tour starting on December 18.

The ‘Sway & Slay Tour’ will make stops in Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Detroit, and other major cities. The first three shows, which are all scheduled in Chicago, have already sold out.

Chanté Moore rose to prominence in the early 1990s with her debut rhythm-and-blues studio album, Precious, released in 1992.

The ‘Ohio’s R&B Music Experience’ Is Tonight!

The Ohio R&B Music Experience (Holiday Edition) goes down tonight, Saturday, December 9th, at Nationwide Arena – 200 West Nationwide Blvd. – in Columbus. It features Xscape, Bell Biv Devoe, 112, Silk, October London, and J Brown.

Alicia Keys Will Celebrate Her Sophomore Album With A Live Show This Weekend

Singer, songwriter, and classically trained pianist Alicia Keys will celebrate the 20th anniversary of her sophomore album, The Diary of Alicia Keys, with a live performance at Webster Hall in New York, this Friday, December 1st.

Keys‘ fans and supporters who are not based in the NYC area will be able to watch the live show on Veeps. The Diary of Alicia Keys was released on December 2nd, 2003, by J Records.

The 2023 Soul Train Awards will premiere on both BET and BET Her this Sunday, November 26th at 8 PM ET/PT. It will be hosted by Emmy Award-winning actress, musical artist, producer, and entrepreneur Keke Palmer.

The award show is committed to recognizing and celebrating the best in soul, R&B, and hip-hop; as such, there will be performances by BJ The Chicago Kid, Coco Jones, Danté Bowe, Fridayy, Muni Long, SWV, and the aforementioned Keke Palmer.

Sheryl Lee Ralph’s ‘Divas Simply Singing!’ Is All Set For Nov. 19 In LA

Award-winning actress Sheryl Lee Ralph and her nonprofit organization, The DIVA Foundation, will present Divas Simply Singing! this Sunday, November 19 at the Wilshire Ebell Theater in Los Angeles, California.

This is an annual event that raises awareness and funds for programs that promote the prevention of HIV/AIDS and other life-threatening health conditions.

Chicago’s City Winery Will Host Regina Belle On Nov. 5th

Soul singer-songwriter Regina Belle – who started her career in the mid-1980s, and is known for hits like “Baby Come to Me” and “Make It Like It Was” – will do back-to-back shows at Chicago’s City Winery (1200 W Randolph Street) on Sunday, November 5th.

The first show, which is already sold out, will begin at 5:00 PM (local time), and will be followed by an 8:30 PM concert. On both occasions Belle will be joined by a guest artist.

Ladies R&B Kickback Concert

On Saturday, November 25th, R&B stars Faith Evans, Jon B and 702, will all perform at the Ladies R&B Kickback Concert, set for the Arena Theatre – 7326 Southwest Freeway – in Houston, Texas.
