In addition to the upcoming dates in May, six additional shows have been announced for Janet Jackson‘s Las Vegas Residency at Resorts World. The new dates are September 10, 13, 14, 17, 19 and 20, 2025.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, May 30th, at 10AM PDT via JanetJackson.com; however, Jackson‘s die-hard fans can get tickets as of May 27th by using the presale code “JJVEGAS” here.
American R&B group Atlantic Starr—best known for the hits “Always,” “Secret Lovers,” “Circles,” “Silver Shadow,” and “Masterpiece,”—and Tongan-American family band The Jets will be in Jamaica for the Bonafide Fest on Sunday, May 11th.
This is a Mother’s Day event that will be staged at Catherine Hall Stadium in Montego Bay. Atlantic Starr and The Jets will be joined by Bonafide Band, Tessanne Chin, Christopher Martin, Kevin Downswell, Nesian 9, and Mackie Conscious.
Starting on May 8th, 2025, BET (Black Entertainment Television) will begin airing Usher: Rendez-Vous in Paris, a concert film. This was shot during Usher’s eight-concert mini stint in Paris, where he performed hits like “Yeah!,” “My Boo,” “U Got It Bad,” and more. The live performances will be complemented by glimpses inside life beyond the stage.
Usher: Rendez-Vous in Paris is a film by and directed by Anthony Mandler. It is a production of Arcovision, Kingdom Films, and Laffitte Group Productions in association with HarbourView Media Group. The film is produced by Anthony Mandler, Usher Raymond, and Ron Laffitte. Executive Producers for Kingdom Films are Aakomon Jones and Angelo Gopee. The executive producer for Arcovision is Kwesi Collisson. Executive producers for Sony Music are Tom Mackay, Richard Story, and Krista Wegener. R&B girl group Xscape will perform at Vystar Amphitheater at The Bridge (4650 N. Henry Blvd.) in Stockbridge, Georgia, on Saturday, May 3rd. They will be joined by two other esteemed girl groups: Total and 702.
The event, dubbed ‘My Girls Night,’ will begin at 6pm, which is approximately two hours before the live concert. Tickets are available on Vystar Amphitheater’s website.
Singer and songwriter Peabo Bryson, who is known for his hit singles “Tonight, I Celebrate My Love,” “You’re Looking Like Love To Me,” and “As Long As There’s Christmas” done with Roberta Flack, and so much more, will perform at Atlanta’s City Winery on April 20th and 21st.
The Grammy Award winner will do two shows on the 20th: one at 6pm and another at 9pm. It should be noted that the 6pm concert is completely sold out. That said, Bryson will return on the 21st for an additional set at 8pm. Click here for links to tickets.
The Queens—4 Legends, 1 Stage—is arguably the biggest tour announced so far for 2025. It will star Gladys Knight, Chaka Khan, Patti Labelle, and Stephanie Mills, four women who are all giants in the music industry.

Atlanta’s #1 R&B station, KISS 104.1 FM, will host Dave Hollister at the City Winery on April 16 and 17. Hollister, who found fame during the 1990s as one quarter of the R&B group Blackstreet, before going on to have a solo career, will do a total of 4 shows: two on the 16th and two on the 17th.
