Passing the Crown with MC Lyte, Rapsody & DJ Perly

Hip-Hop royalty takes the stage this fall as Passing the Crown returns with an electrifying fusion of music, movement, and culture. The live orchestral mixtape and dance experience will spotlight MC Lyte, one of hip-hop’s most celebrated pioneers and a multiple Gold Record recording artist. She’ll be joined by GRAMMY Award winner Rapsody, whose artistry continues to push hip-hop’s boundaries, and DJ Perly, a groundbreaking talent as the first woman to win the DMC USA DJ Championship—and the only woman to take the title twice.

Catch Keith Sweat & Friends in Oakland on October 4

One of the early figures in the new jack swing musical movement, Keith Sweat, will be headlining a R&B concert at the Paramount Theatre in Oakland, California, on Saturday, October 4th. The event will start at 8 p.m. local time, with doors opening one hour earlier.

As the show is titled Keith Sweat & Friends, Keith will be joined by some of his colleagues, along with special guest Case, a star in his own right. Rebel Salute’s U.S. Debut Postponed

The long-anticipated U.S. debut of Rebel Salute, Jamaica’s renowned annual music festival, has been postponed. The event was originally set for Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the National Park in Miramar, Florida.

Organizers announced the decision after weather forecasts predicted severe thunderstorms across South Florida. Prioritizing safety, they confirmed the new date as April 19, 2026. All previously purchased tickets will remain valid for the rescheduled show.

UK’s Gospel Explosion 2025 Set for October 4th

Harmony Productions and Another Level Promotions, in association with Broadway Theatre, present Gospel Explosion 2025 on Saturday, October 4th at the Broadway Theatre on Rushey Green in Catford, London.

The one-night-only concert will bring together international gospel sensations Sherwin Gardner from Trinidad and VaShawn Mitchell from the USA, both performing live in the UK.

They will be joined by a powerful lineup of UK talent, including Imrhan, Natalie Okri, Roger Samuels, and the soulful Lewisham Goes Gospel Choir. Also featured is special guest Coco Dupree, with all performances backed by the outstanding Eddie’s House Band.
