Star David Releases New Single Ahead Of Ordination Anniversary “Pouring Out”

Jamaica-raised, UK-born and based recording artist Star David has just released a new single titled Pouring Out. The afrobeat-fused track, which is a collaboration done with fellow Jamaican vocalist Yanujah, went live on streaming platforms on October 3rd via DAG Music Label.

This release is well timed. It is being shared approximately one month ahead of Star David‘s Ordination anniversary, an event that is commemorated annually on November 2nd.

Star David was issued a Certificate Of Ordination Recognition, restoring his spiritual identity under the title and name Lord Selah David Anthony Graham. It was presented and signed on November 2nd, 2021, by Bishop Albert Watson of the UK Wolverhampton Borough Bilston New Testament Church Of God.

On Pouring Out, Star David highlights the 93rd coronation anniversary of His Imperial Majesty Emperor Haile Selassie and the Empress Menen Asfaw, as well as his own Ordination. Click here or on the image above to stream and or download Pouring Out from your preferred music platform.

Reggae Veteran Sister Carol Collaborates With Daughter Nakeeba On New Single “Be Alone”

One of Jamaica’s most respected female voices, as it relates to the reggae music industry, is Sister Carol. Always active as both a recording artist and producer, the Jamaican-born, U.S.-based reggae veteran is now gearing up to release a compilation album called Millennium Movie Star

To that end, and in an effort to pique our interest, Sister Carol has shared the project’s lead single – Be Alone – which is a collaboration done with her daughter Nakeeba Amaniyea, an impeccable and accomplished artist in her own right.

Be Alone has been described as ‘a modern-day channeling of lovers-rock’ by some in the media. Others say that it feels like a simpler time when men and women danced together, dated for a while, and fell in love. In other words, it feels good. The official video, which was uploaded to YouTube at the end of September, certainly encompasses all the preceding statements.

Be Alone is now available on iTunes, Apples Music, Deezer, Spotify, and all other digital music platforms. It comes to us courtesy of Black Cinderella Productions and YeYeX Multimedia Productions, and is being distributed by Tad’s Record Inc.
