Todd Dulaney, Jai Kingston & Jaron Nurse Will Perform In Turks & Caicos On Oct. 8th

Community Fellowship Centre in Turks & Caicos will welcome three major gospel acts to the islands on Saturday, October 8th, 2023. Todd Dulaney (U.S.), Jai Kingston (Jamaica), and Jaron Nurse (Trinidad and Tobago) are all confirmed for the annual Community Fellowship Centre Gospel Fest.

The event will be held at the Gustarvus Lightbourne Sports Complex in downtown Providenciales. Several local groups and praise teams will join the aforementioned performers.

Maxi Priest & Stephen Marley Added To The 2023 International Arts Fest Lineup

International reggae artists Maxi Priest and Stephen Marley will join bassist and singer George Porter Jr. & His Phunky Friends at the 2023 International Arts Fest in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The multi-day event, set for October 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th, will take place at Crescent Park, Mandeville Wharf (2300 North Peters Street). Additional information and links to tickets are available at iafnola-dot-com.

The Visuals For Hugh English’s “Where Do We Go From Here” Is Out Now!

A couple months ago (specifically on July 21st), Trench Town recording artist Hugh English, in collaboration with California based producer and music executive Josh Harris, shared a powerful reggae single called Where Do We Go From Here.

The men are now following up with its official video, which premiered on YouTube two days ago (September 24th). The visuals show clips of Hugh English performing the song, people going about their daily lives, and random commonplace shots, all captured in various locations in Jamaica. Editing was done in the U.S. by a member of Josh Harris‘ creative team.

Catch Inner Circle At The Neptune Festival Art & Craft Show This Friday

One of the most highly regarded fine art and design shows in the U.S. takes place this Friday, September 29th at the Virginia Beach Boardwalk, between 21st and 31st Street in Virginia.

Now in its 49th year, the Neptune Festival Art and Craft Show – which promises more than 225 artists – will also feature a live music set by one of reggae’s greatest ensemble, Inner Circle. Attendees are invited to stroll along the boardwalk and discover new artists, listen to live music, and enjoy the offerings of local vendors. This is a free, public event.

Recording Artist & Actor Idris Elba Releases 3-Track EP

English actor, DJ, and recording artist Idris Elba has just added three new songs to his catalogue. On September 21st, he shared an EP called The Phantom Files (From Cyberpunk 2077), which is to mark the worldwide release of the Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty video game, in which his likeness and image are used as one of the lead characters.

The EP, classified as hip-hop (although one of the songs is clearly deep-house) comes to us courtesy of Elba‘s own imprint, 7Wallace Music. All three tracks are included in the aforementioned video game’s official soundtrack.

R&B Legends Fantasia & Joe Perform At Legacy Arena This Friday

Since winning American Idol Season 3 in 2004, Fantasia has performed at the BJCC Concert Hall (Legacy Arena) 8 times!

This Friday, September 29th, the R&B giant will be back at the Arena. This time she will be joined by another rhythm-and-blues star, Joe.

For those not in the know, the venue is located at 1001 19th Street North, in Birmingham, Alabama. Tickets are still available via ticketmaster.

Lutan Fyah, Professor Nuts & Others For ‘Reggae To The West’

Top Man Promotions presents Reggae to the West – a night of live roots music – on Saturday, October 14, at Darliston Primary School in Darliston, Westmoreland (Jamaica).

It will feature the likes of Luciano, Droop Lion, Jah Frass, Professor Nuts, Lutan Fyah, Scarcha, and many more. The backing band is Jah Soldier, and Allan Ranks (the action master) will host.

Early bird tickets, which can be purchased from Sir Michael’s Auto Parts in Darliston, are currently going for $2,500 JMD; while at the gate it will be $3,500.
