Planet Brooklyn will be taking over the Barclays Center on Sunday, August 24th, with live performances by Machel Montano, Skillibeng, Bunji Garlin, Ayetian, Lady Lava, Skinny Fabulous, Problem Child, Ravi B, Travis World, and so much more.

This event is a part of a full weekend celebration being presented by Planet Brooklyn. D’Bandit’s annual food-inclusive boat cruise—now called Socapedia—is scheduled for Sunday, June 22nd, aboard The Enterprise 2000. The vessel will be docked at 176 Cherry Street in Toronto, Ontario. Organizers will begin boarding patrons at 1pm and will set sail an hour later, at 2.

This event usually marks the official start of summer for soca lovers in the GTA. It will feature a performance by the charismatic singer-songwriter Edwin Yearwood, who is expected to deliver an engaging set. Click here for tickets.

Soca Anthropology, one of the main events that will be presented at this year’s Orlando Carnival, is set for Saturday, May 24th at the Seneff Arts Plaza—445 South Magnolia Avenue—in Orlando, Florida.

Soca music royalty, Bunji Garlin and Fay-Ann Lyons, will perform live, and they will be supported by the Vikings Band. It should be noted that there will be an opening set by Burning Flames. Click here for tickets and additional information.

Trini-soca singer GBM Nutron and one of soca’s most consistent and versatile artists, Lyrikal, will perform at Jamaica’s 2025 Carnival. Both men are confirmed for events being presented by Xodus Carnival.

GBM Nutron will headline their Fete Gala, which takes place on Wednesday, April 23rd at the National Stadium, while Lyrikal will take center stage at Remedy on the 26th, also at the National Stadium.
