Edwin Yearwood Confirmed For ‘Socapedia’ In Toronto

D’Bandit’s annual food-inclusive boat cruise—now called Socapedia—is scheduled for Sunday, June 22nd, aboard The Enterprise 2000. The vessel will be docked at 176 Cherry Street in Toronto, Ontario. Organizers will begin boarding patrons at 1pm and will set sail an hour later, at 2.

This event usually marks the official start of summer for soca lovers in the GTA. It will feature a performance by the charismatic singer-songwriter Edwin Yearwood, who is expected to deliver an engaging set. Click here for tickets.

The Art of Music Festival 2025

Maxi Priest, Alison Hinds, Third World, Tifa, Kumar Fyah, and 2nd Chance are all confirmed for the 2025 Art of Music Festival happening at the Sunset Cove Amphitheater in Boca Raton, Florida, on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 11th.

The Art of Music Festival is an annual multi-genre live music event that is known to present reggae, soca, gospel, dancehall, calypso, and Caribbean pop acts.

Best of the Best Music Fest 2025

The 19th annual Best of the Best Music Festival will be held on Sunday, May 25th, at Bayfront Park in Downtown Miami, Florida. It’s scheduled to run from 2pm to 10pm local time.

Experience ‘Soca Anthropology’ With Bunji Garlin & Fay-Ann Lyons In Orlando

Soca Anthropology, one of the main events that will be presented at this year’s Orlando Carnival, is set for Saturday, May 24th at the Seneff Arts Plaza—445 South Magnolia Avenue—in Orlando, Florida.

GBM Nutron & Lyrikal Will Be In Jamaica For Xodus Carnival 2025

Trini-soca singer GBM Nutron and one of soca’s most consistent and versatile artists, Lyrikal, will perform at Jamaica’s 2025 Carnival. Both men are confirmed for events being presented by Xodus Carnival.

GBM Nutron will headline their Fete Gala, which takes place on Wednesday, April 23rd at the National Stadium, while Lyrikal will take center stage at Remedy on the 26th, also at the National Stadium. Bunji Garlin Will Be In Jamaica For RYTZ

I Love Soca Jamaica and Tipsy Music Festival present RYTZ, an all-inclusive shindig on Carnival Thursday, April 24, in Kingston, Jamaica. The exact location will be announced at a later date.

Trinidadian ragga soca artist Bunji Garlin is confirmed to perform. Some of his earlier hits include “Big Bad Soca,” “Differentology,” and “Famalay,” which was done with Skinny Fabulous and Machel Montano.
