Mykal Rose Has Back-To-Back Shows At Blue Note Hawaii In November

Classic hardcore Jamaican roots rock reggae music will be pulsating throughout Blue Note Hawaii on both Friday, November 15, and Saturday, November 16, as legendary reggae artist Mykal Rose is confirmed for back-to-back shows.

The former member of Black Uhuru will do two sets on each of the aforementioned dates: the first at 5:00 p.m., and the other at 8:30 p.m. (local time). For additional information and links to tickets, visit bluenotejazz.com/Hawaii.

3 The Hard Way For ‘Rise Reggae’ In St. Vincent & The Grenadines

St. Vincent & The Grenadines’ edition of “Rise Reggae” will be presented on Saturday, November 9th, at Victoria Park, which is located on Grenville Street in Kingstown, starting at 8:00 p.m. local time. 

Under the theme ‘Peace, Love, and Positive Vibes,’ the event will feature performances by three trending reggae acts: Romain Virgo, Gramps Morgan, and Jahmiel.

Richie Spice Live In Costa Rica

On November 16, Jamaican reggae artist Richell Bonner, better known as Richie Spice, will perform at the Centro de Eventos La Uruca in San José, Zona Industrial, Costa Rica. This is an 18 and older event that requires all attendees to walk with their identification. Click here for tickets.

Mical Teja Drops New Song & Video “Energy”

A few days ago, on October 16, Trini Soca star Mical Teja released a new single called Energy. On an uptempo track, the Trini songwriter and producer talks about the strength, passion, and vitality he has for calypso music.

Energy‘s official video, which was shared at the same time as the audio, does indeed show Mical‘s spiritedness for the genre. República do Reggae 2024

Latin America’s largest reggae festival, República do Reggae, is all set for November 30, 2024, at WET Salvador in Bahia, Brazil. Started in 2003, the organizers have always strived to book the biggest national and international reggae acts. 

So far for this year they have confirmed Alpha Blondy, Steel Pulse, Clinton Fearon, Etana, Edson Gomes, Eek-A-Mouse, Tribo De Jah, Mato Seco, and Leoes De Israel. In addition to the live show, attendees will also have access to the dub tent, a craft fair, and the Little Republic Store.

Spragga Benz, Singer J & Others For ‘Red Out’ In Boston

On Saturday, November 2nd, Dynamite Promotion will present a dance and stage show called Red Out. It will be held at Kays Lounge (1125 Bluehill Avenue) in Dorchester, Boston’s largest and most diverse neighborhood.

Spragga Benz, Singer J, Xyclone, Briggy Benz, Alien, and Realest are all confirmed to perform live. Additional music will be provided by Dynamite Sound, Enterprise Squad, Ghetto Hype, and DJ Gas.

Everton Blender’s 70th Birthday Celebration

Everton Blender‘s 70th birthday celebration is arguably one of the most anticipated reggae events happening in Miramar, Florida, this year. Presented by Blendem Productions, Everton‘s own imprint, the reggae-dancehall party, which is more like a festival, will be staged on Sunday, November 24 at the Miramar Readiness Center, located at 5001 Flamingo Road.

Everton Blender and his team are clearly pulling out all the stops, as they have invited some of the biggest names in the reggae-dancehall industry to partake. To that end, they have invited Spragga Benz, Agent Sasco, Bushman, Gyptian, Admiral Tibet, Louie Culture, Lutan Fyah, and many more established and emerging acts to perform live.

Furthermore, in addition to the live show, they will have several deejays and sound systems on hand to keep the music going. Copper Shot, Starbwoy International, King Courage, Island Vibes Sound, and DJ Mammas Boy are among the selectors on the lineup.

The scheduled running time is noon to 10:00 p.m. It should also be noted that Jamaica’s Consul General in Miami, Oliver Mair, and Commissioner Maxwell B. Chambers are Everton Blender‘s special guests. Tickets can be purchased online via caribtix.com.
