As the daughter of Clive ‘Kubba’ Pringle, a respected music promoter, Tonya P‘s affinity for music is deeply ingrained. However, her success is the result of dedicated craftsmanship and a passion for creating inspirational content.

On Sunday, September 29, 2024, Tonya P‘s efforts were formally acknowledged at the inaugural Reggae North Music Awards, held at The Rose Theatre in Brampton, Ontario. While she celebrates these wins, Tonya P and her team are also simultaneously promoting her recently released single, Rise.

Give Thanks For Jr. Gong’s “Banner”

Banner, the newest single by Rastafarian recording artist Damian “Jr. Gong” Marley, is both imperative and timely as it deals with the unfortunate gang wars happening across Jamaica. On a hip-hop rhythm, Gong explains the trap that so many young men are unfortunately getting caught up in as they impulsively chase money and, in some cases, notoriety.

The official video for Banner was shared on Marley‘s YouTube channel on October 8th, and the mp3 will be published on streaming platforms on October 11th. If you have not yet seen the captivating visual, click here or on the image above to check it out, and remember to like, comment, and share.
