On Monday, April 3rd and Tuesday, April 4th American pianist, record producer, songwriter, and musical arranger, Robert Glasper – who is fresh off his GRAMMY win for Best R&B Album – will do back-to-back double sets at the famed Blue Note Hawaii.
On both days he will do two sets, one at 6:30pm and the other at 9pm. Glasper will be supported by bassist Burniss Travis, drummer Justin Tyson and DJ Jahi Sundance. Get tickets here.
Earlier in the year British singer-songwriter Ella Mai announced her second headlining tour in support of the deluxe release of her sophomore album, Heart On My Sleeve. 94.5 The Beat – Central Texas’ #1 hip-hop and R&B radio station – will, in collaboration with Trill Love Clothing, present We Love R&B. The live concert will take place at the Masonic Grand Lodge Library & Museum of Texas – 715 Columbus Avenue – in Waco on Friday, April 21st.

After a three-year hiatus, the Tobago Jazz Experience returns in April, and will run from the 20th to the 23rd at three different locations.
Gospel Night, which will be on the 20th, will be at the Shaw Park Complex; Jazz Night is on the 22nd at the Speyside Recreational Grounds; and International Night (the 23rd) will be at the Parade Grounds next to Dwight York Stadium.

The dates, location and lineup are set for the 2023 staging of J. Cole‘s Dreamville Festival. It will be held at the Dorothea Dix Park in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Saturday, April 1st and Sunday, April 2nd.

Saxophonist, vocalist, songwriter, producer, and educator – Eric Darius – has two sold out shows at Yoshi’s in Oakland, California, this Friday, March 3rd. The performances are at 8 and 10pm.
