Detroit’s Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre will host “Love on the River,” a special concert event featuring R&B stars Keyshia Cole and Lloyd, on Saturday, August 30.

The riverside venue will open its doors at 7 p.m., with the show beginning at 8 p.m. As with all performances at the amphitheatre, the event will proceed rain or shine, and organizers note that ticket prices may increase closer to the date of the show.

Cole, known for chart-topping hits and a devoted fan base built over two decades in R&B, headlines the bill alongside Lloyd, the Grammy-nominated singer celebrated for his smooth vocals and steady run of radio hits.

Tickets are available exclusively through the Aretha Franklin Amphitheatre box office, TheAretha.com, and Ticketmaster. The event is presented in partnership with Motor City Casino and the City of Detroit.

Musiq Soulchild will embark on an extensive multi-city residency tour at City Winery venues across the country, bringing his signature blend of neo-soul and R&B to fans in seven major cities through the end of the year.

The tour kicks off in New York City with performances on August 21, 22, and 24, featuring six total shows with two performances each night. From there, the tour heads to St. Louis for three dates—September 1, 3, and 4—also offering six shows with two sets per night.

Chicago audiences will get an extended run, with four performance dates on September 7, 8, 11, and 12, totaling eight shows across two nightly sets. The tour then takes a break before resuming in the fall with a stop in Atlanta, where Musiq Soulchild will perform November 20, 21, 24, and 25, again delivering eight shows with two performances each evening.

Nashville follows with three dates on November 28, 29, and December 1, rounding out six shows with two sets nightly. The tour continues in Philadelphia with four dates—December 17, 18, 21, and 22—offering eight total performances across two nightly shows.

The residency concludes in Pittsburgh, where Musiq Soulchild will close out the year with performances on December 27, 28, and 30, totaling six shows with two sets each night.

“An Evening of Soul” brings together October London, Leela James, and Eric Benét, three celebrated voices in R&B, for what organizers say will be an unforgettable night of live music.

Hosted by MC Lightfoot, the concert is scheduled for Saturday, September 5, at the Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre, located at 5239 Floyd Road in Mableton, Georgia. Gates will open at 6:00 PM, giving attendees ample time to settle in before showtime at 7:00 PM.

Free parking will be available on-site, and guests are welcome to bring their own food, drinks, and coolers into the venue. For those who prefer not to pack a meal, food vendors will also be on hand throughout the evening.

Tickets start at $69, with VIP table options available for those seeking a more premium experience. Tickets can be purchased through Ticketmaster.

The R&B Super Jam tour is set to bring a star-studded lineup of R&B legends to two Gulf Coast cities this fall. The show will hit the Toyota Center in Houston on September 5, followed by a stop at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans on September 6.

The tour features Silk, Tyrese, Dru Hill, SWV, and Jaheim, with Ginuwine and Next also billed on select dates. Organizers note that lineups may vary by city, and fans are encouraged to check local listings for full details.
