The 12th annual TD James Moody Jazz Festival will run from November 3rd through 19 at various locations in Newark, New Jersey. There will be a wide range of performers, such as: Dee Dee Bridgewater with Bill Charlap, Take 6, Abdullah Ibrahim, Gladys Knight, Dave Grusin, Cyrus Chestnut, Steve Turre, Christian McBride with Savion Glover, and that is just to name a few.

Tyrese, Ginuwine & Tank Reunite As TGT: New Music & Tour Coming In 2024

Three R&B titans – Tyrese, Ginuwine and Tank – have announced that they have reunited, and will be working on new music, and touring as a group under the name TGT in 2024. The magic happened at the R&B Music Experience concert in Tampa, Florida, on Friday, October 20th, where all three men were hired as solo acts.

The official announcement was made on Ginuwine‘s Instagram page, and was later shared on both Tyrese and Tanks‘ accounts. Needless to say, 2024 is going to be a great year for rhythm-and-blues.

“I Love Retro Saturdays” With Funkmaster Flex (Oct.28 In Brooklyn)

DJ, rapper, record producer, and radio host Funkmaster Flex will be the main act at the forthcoming I Love Retro Saturdays – a throwback party not to be missed. Scheduled for Saturday, October 28th, the event will be served up in two parts: Brunch (11am to 5pm) and dinner (6pm to 2am).

It all goes down at Stush Restaurant, which is located at 470 Driggs Avenue, in Brooklyn, New York. Admission is free, but the organizer would like everyone to RSVP via eventbrite.

Spend “Christmas With Brandy”

Earlier today – Friday, October 20 – singer, songwriter, actress and model Brandy took to social media to announce that she will be putting out a Christmas album in a few weeks.

Titled Christmas With Brandy, the record is scheduled for release on  November 10th. She went on to say: “I feel so blessed to be able to create an album surrounding joy, Family, love and quality divine time with the ones you love.”

Davido’s A.W.A.Y. Festival Set For Nov. 18 In Atlanta

On November 18, Afro-pop star Davido will bring the motherland to Atlanta, Georgia, via his A.W.A.Y. Music Festival. A.W.A.Y. is an acronym for Are We African Yet?

Some of the top trending afrobeat, high-life and amapiano artists will be at the State Farm Arena for what many are calling the biggest afrobeat fest in the U.S. The lineup includes: Kizz Daniel, Lojay, Oxlade, Wande Coal, Pheelz, BNXN (FKA Buju), Focalistic, and Victony. Black Eyed Peas Confirmed For The ACT Festival In Barbados

On November 11th, Blu Escape will present ACT Festival, an electrifying event aimed at highlighting Barbados’ creative community. The stage will be set at the Hayman’s Factory, which is located in St. Peter, Barbados, starting at 3pm local time.

Black Eyed Peas, the American musical group consisting of rappers Will.I.Am, Apl.De.Ap and Taboo, is confirmed as the headlining act. The show will also feature 2 Mile Hill, Krisirie, Jeremy Goddard, and several others.

Frankie Beverly & Maze’s Upcoming Tour Dates

Frankie Beverly & Maze‘s I Wanna Thank You Tour will commence in New Orleans on November 3rd, and will remain active until the spring of 2024. On each show they will be accompanied by another legendary musical act: Cameo, The Isley Brothers, Midnight Star, etc.
