Usher: Rendez-Vous in Paris Begins Airing on BET on May 8th

Starting on May 8th, 2025, BET (Black Entertainment Television) will begin airing Usher: Rendez-Vous in Paris, a concert film. This was shot during Usher’s eight-concert mini stint in Paris, where he performed hits like “Yeah!,” “My Boo,” “U Got It Bad,” and more. The live performances will be complemented by glimpses inside life beyond the stage.

Usher: Rendez-Vous in Paris is a film by and directed by Anthony Mandler. It is a production of Arcovision, Kingdom Films, and Laffitte Group Productions in association with HarbourView Media Group. The film is produced by Anthony Mandler, Usher Raymond, and Ron Laffitte. Executive Producers for Kingdom Films are Aakomon Jones and Angelo Gopee. The executive producer for Arcovision is Kwesi Collisson. Executive producers for Sony Music are Tom Mackay, Richard Story, and Krista Wegener. The project was co-financed by LMG Management LLC, Brand Usher LLC, and Harbour View Equity Partners. Sony Music Vision is the distributor.

Seun Kuti & Egypt 80 Will Play At Atlanta’s City Winery On April 25th

As their Heavier Yet U.S. Tour continues to make its way across America, Seun Kuti—Nigerian musician and activist and son of the legendary Fela Kuti—will, along with backing band Egypt 80, perform at Atlanta’s City Winery on Friday, April 25th.

Spend A Girls Night With Xscape In Stockbridge, GA Next Month

R&B girl group Xscape will perform at Vystar Amphitheater at The Bridge (4650 N. Henry Blvd.) in Stockbridge, Georgia, on Saturday, May 3rd. They will be joined by two other esteemed girl groups: Total and 702.

The event, dubbed ‘My Girls Night,’ will begin at 6pm, which is approximately two hours before the live concert. Tickets are available on Vystar Amphitheater’s website.

2 nights, 3 shows with Peabo Bryson at Atlanta’s City Winery!

Singer and songwriter Peabo Bryson, who is known for his hit singles “Tonight, I Celebrate My Love,” “You’re Looking Like Love To Me,” and “As Long As There’s Christmas” done with Roberta Flack, and so much more, will perform at Atlanta’s City Winery on April 20th and 21st.

Catch Rakim At The Bethesda Theater On April 18

On Friday, April 18, 2025, legendary emcee Rakim will perform at the Bethesda Theater—7719 Wisconsin Avenue—in Bethesda, Maryland. This is an 8:30pm show that will feature opening tracks by DJ Zu Crates of Soul.
