Dave Hollister Has Back-To-Back Shows In Atlanta On April 16 & 17

Atlanta’s #1 R&B station, KISS 104.1 FM, will host Dave Hollister at the City Winery on April 16 and 17. Hollister, who found fame during the 1990s as one quarter of the R&B group Blackstreet, before going on to have a solo career, will do a total of 4 shows: two on the 16th and two on the 17th.

On each night there will be an early (6:30pm) and late (9:30pm) set. Atlanta’s City Winery is located at 650 North Avenue NE. Links to tickets and additional information are available at citywinery.com/atlanta.

Chaka Khan’s Euro Tour Kicks Off On March 28th

The celebration of Chaka Khan‘s 50 years in music continues with a short stint in Europe this spring. She will close off the month of March at the Retro Festival in Switzerland before heading to New Zealand and then Australia. See all dates and locations below.

Otis Redding Center for the Arts

The Otis Redding Foundation will be hosting the grand opening for the Otis Redding Center for the Arts on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 436 Cotton Avenue in Downtown Macon, Georgia.

The center will provide services for young people between the ages of 5 and 18 who are interested in music and the arts. Plans are also in place to roll out programming for toddlers and senior citizens.

Following the grand opening, ORCA will host two of the Otis Redding Foundation’s signature programs, the Otis Music Camp (June 2–20, 2025) and Camp Dream (July 14–25, 2025). For additional information, visit their website: www.orcamacon.org.

Steel Banglez Partners With Nas & Sid Sriram For “Time”

British Indian producer and musician Steel Banglez has just shared the official video for “Times,” track #5 on his new EP, “One Day It Will All Make Sense.” The song is a three-way collaboration done with R&B and Carnatic singer-songwriter Sid Sriram and hip-hop lyricist Nas.

Smif-N-Wessun’s New Album “Infinity” Getting Great Reviews

On February 21, 2025, Brooklyn’s hip-hop duo Smif-N-Wessun, aka Cocoa Brovaz, dropped a new 14-track LP called “Infinity.” Produced by 9th Wonder and The Soul Council, the album is being called refreshing by lovers of authentic hip-hop. It has collaborations with Sweata, Pharoahe Monche, Jalisa, Ralph Tresvant, Conway the Machine, Buckshot, Yountie Strickland, Sean Price, and Maverick Sabre.

So far, two official videos have been shared from the project: “Elephant In The Room” (track #13) was uploaded to Duck Down Music’s YouTube channel in early February, while “Medina,” which features Pharoahe Monch (track #4), just went live on Smif-N-Wessun‘s Vevo.
