1990s hip-hop MCs Ishmael “Butterfly” Butler, Mariana “Ladybug Mecca” Vieira, and Craig “Doodlebug” Irving, collectively known as Digable Planets, will perform at The Espee on Saturday, June 21st.

American R&B group Atlantic Starr—best known for the hits “Always,” “Secret Lovers,” “Circles,” “Silver Shadow,” and “Masterpiece,”—and Tongan-American family band The Jets will be in Jamaica for the Bonafide Fest on Sunday, May 11th.
This is a Mother’s Day event that will be staged at Catherine Hall Stadium in Montego Bay. Atlantic Starr and The Jets will be joined by Bonafide Band, Tessanne Chin, Christopher Martin, Kevin Downswell, Nesian 9, and Mackie Conscious.
Since January of this year, Havoc (from Mobb Deep), Big Noyd, and DJ L.E.S. have all been trekking across Europe serving up authentic hip-hop at various sold out venues. The timeless poet and rhyme master Nasir Jones, known professionally as Nas, will embark on a series of concerts alongside the Las Vegas Philharmonic this summer.

Starting on May 8th, 2025, BET (Black Entertainment Television) will begin airing Usher: Rendez-Vous in Paris, a concert film. This was shot during Usher’s eight-concert mini stint in Paris, where he performed hits like “Yeah!,” “My Boo,” “U Got It Bad,” and more. The live performances will be complemented by glimpses inside life beyond the stage.

As their Heavier Yet U.S. Tour continues to make its way across America, Seun Kuti—Nigerian musician and activist and son of the legendary Fela Kuti—will, along with backing band Egypt 80, perform at Atlanta’s City Winery on Friday, April 25th.
