Columbus Gospel Fest is back—this time it’s all about “Same God, Same Grace, New Place!” at the Ohio Expo Center’s Lausche Building (717 East 17th Avenue) on Saturday, August 30, from 12–8 p.m.

This year’s lineup is stacked with talent, headlined by national gospel recording artist Tonya Baker and two-time Grammy Award winner Jonathan McReynolds. Also taking the stage: Pastor Chowee Thomas, Evg. Cherry Ridley, Steven Spotswood, FJ Dooley & Testimony, and Camille Benton Williams.

Toronto’s iconic Jamaica Day festival is back and bigger than ever—now celebrating its 35th anniversary with two unforgettable days of music, culture, and Caribbean pride. Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 6th and Sunday, September 7th, as Brampton Sports Park (7575 Kennedy Rd. South) transforms into the heart of Jamaica in the 6ix.

Gates open at 1:00 PM each day, welcoming festivalgoers to an explosion of non-stop culture, live entertainment, mouth-watering Jamaican cuisine, and pure island energy.

On Saturday, September 6th, international dancehall superstar Mr. Vegas will light up the stage with his infectious energy and chart-topping hits. The Fox Theater in Salinas, California (241 Main Street) will be pulsating with rhythms of reggae on Sunday, August 31, 2025, as it hosts the highly anticipated 2025 Reggae Fest. This vibrant celebration of music and culture will feature an impressive lineup of internationally acclaimed artists, alongside food, drinks, vendors, and an array of entertainment.

Headlining the event is Mykal Rose, the Grammy Award–winning voice of Black Uhuru, whose timeless hits have made him a cornerstone of reggae history. Joining him are two other icons—Johnny Clarke, whose roots reggae classics continue to inspire generations, and Prezident Brown, known for his conscious lyrics and powerful stage presence. The bill also includes Kava Jah & The Remedy, Lujan & Militia of Love, and Wicked Paradise, adding their unique sounds to the night’s musical journey. As part of the festivities, the City will officially unveil New Edition Way, a permanent tribute in the neighborhood where the group’s journey began.

Formed in Roxbury in the early 1980s, New Edition rose to international fame with a string of chart-topping hits, helping to shape the sound of modern R\&B and inspiring generations of artists. The street renaming not only commemorates their musical legacy but also celebrates their roots and ongoing connection to the community that helped shape their success.

From 3 p.m. to 9 p.m., Sizzla Kalonji (Dada), Capleton (the Fireman), and Richie Spice will headline Rasta City, a day festival celebrating Rastafarian music, food, and culture in the heart of the DMV area.
