The Fox Theater in Salinas, California (241 Main Street) will be pulsating with rhythms of reggae on Sunday, August 31, 2025, as it hosts the highly anticipated 2025 Reggae Fest. As part of the festivities, the City will officially unveil New Edition Way, a permanent tribute in the neighborhood where the group’s journey began.

Formed in Roxbury in the early 1980s, New Edition rose to international fame with a string of chart-topping hits, helping to shape the sound of modern R\&B and inspiring generations of artists. The street renaming not only commemorates their musical legacy but also celebrates their roots and ongoing connection to the community that helped shape their success.
