McDonough International Gospel Fest!

On Saturday, June 8th, 2024, the McDonough International Gospel Fest will take place at Alexander Park (110 Jonesboro Road) in McDonough, Georgia! This incredible event will run from 1pm to 8pm, bringing together a powerhouse lineup of Christian talent and a vibrant community of believers for an unforgettable day of music, praise, and celebration.

This year’s festival features an awe-inspiring roster of gospel artists, each bringing their unique voice and style to the stage. Get ready to be moved by the soulful performances of Jabez, Nanamous, Cassie, Denise Nicole, Carlington Roberts, Raenise Lamour, and Doxology. With Minister Seon Rodney and Sister Denise Campbell serving as MCs for the day.

Hip-Hop 4 Peace

Collaborating Partners: M Power Change, Make the Road NY, New York Communities for Change, CUFFH, Jay Boogie Love, and BLOQUE, are supporting The Action Lab and The Center For Popular Democracy as they present a night of hip-hop, calling for a permanent ceasefire and an end to civilian suffering in Palestine, DR Congo, and Sudan.

It will take place on June 2nd at Roulette (509 Atlantic Avenue) in Brooklyn, New York. The lineup includes Ana Tijoux, Smif-N-Wessun, M1 and Umi from Dead Prez, Emilio Rojas, Waheeb Nasan, and more. Confirmed host is Suheir Hammad.

This event is free so admission is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Juneteenth Arts In The Park!

Mark your calendars for Friday, June 14, 2024, as that is the date for the Juneteenth Arts In The Park celebration at Norvell Band Shell in Manhattan, Kansas.

Headlining the evening is the incredibly talented Grammy Award winner, Regina Belle. With her powerful voice and captivating stage presence, Belle is sure to deliver a performance that will leave the audience in awe. Her music beautifully blends elements of R&B, soul, and gospel, creating a unique sound that resonates with listeners of all ages.

Joining Regina Belle will be the musically acclaimed Chris Walker. As a musician and producer, Walker brings his own brand of soulful, heartfelt music to the performance. What makes this event even more special is that admission is completely free!

Lambeth Country Show 2024

Now in its 50th year, the annual Lambeth Country Show will take place on Saturday, June 8th, and Sunday, June 9th, at Brockwell Park on Dulwich Road in Brixton, South London, UK.

On Sunday – Roots Day – the main stage will feature Luciano, David Rodigan, Top Cats, Youthsayers, Female Roll Call, and Sistren Shirley. The live show will run from 1:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., and it’s absolutely free to the public.

Lambeth Country Show is a non-profit music festival. The first staging was organized by the Lambeth Horticultural Society and the Lambeth Arts & Recreation Association in July 1967.

Glen Washington Will Be Live In Lowell, MA On June 8th

70s breakout artist Glen Washington will be live in concert at Hot Spot Restaurant & Lounge (131 Middlesex Street) in Lowell, Massachusetts on Saturday, June 8th. The event is being presented by Natty Camp Promotions, Lulu Charles Ent., and Jaymo Ent.

How Sweet The Sound

The 2024 “How Sweet The Sound” Gospel Music Competition returns on Saturday, June 1st at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, Georgia. This annual event showcases the nation’s most talented gospel artists and choirs, vying for the coveted title of America’s #1 Gospel Act.

Headlined by Ricky Dillard, Jonathan McReynolds, Donald Lawrence, Tamela Mann, Hezekiah Walker, and J.J. Hairston, the competition promises an evening of uplifting and spirit-filled performances. Kicking off at 8pm, How Sweet The Sound celebrates the very best in gospel music and the power of faith-based artistic expression.

Clinton Fearon’s West Coast Tour

Jamaican reggae singer and musician Clinton Fearon is set to embark on his West Coast Tour, which kicks off on Tuesday, May 28th. This tour will provide audiences with the opportunity to experience Fearon‘s latest musical offering, “Survival Vibration,” in both solo acoustic performances and shows alongside his Boogie Brown Band.
