Chevelle Franklyn Unveils Her Highly-Anticipated Gospel Album “South Wind Vol. 1”

Renowned Jamaican gospel artist Chevelle Franklyn is thrilled to announce the release of her latest album, South Wind Vol. 1. This highly anticipated collection of praise and worship music showcases Chevelle’s signature blend of vibrant melodies, sweet harmonies, and heartfelt lyrics, capturing the essence of worship with a powerful anointing that resonates deeply with listeners.

“This album is a testament to the transformative power of God, and I am inviting everyone to immerse themselves in this worship experience and feel the power of God in the music,” said an excited Chevelle. She continued, “It was a truly inspirational experience for me recording this album, and I am getting so much joy from sharing it with everyone.”

South Wind Vol. 1 was recorded in the rich cultural landscape of South Africa, bringing together a dynamic mix of indigenous sounds with songs in both English and Zulu. The album offers a soul-stirring journey of faith, hope, and love, transporting listeners to a place of spiritual renewal and inspiration.

One of the standout tracks from the album is “Jesus Wins,” a song that captures the victory and triumph of Jesus Christ. “Jesus Wins celebrates the eternal hope we have in our Savior. This song resonates not only on earth but in heaven, echoing the praises of angels. This powerful anthem evokes a sense of awe and reverence, reminding us of the greatness and majesty of Jesus Christ.” Chevelle describes it as one of her favorites on the album.

In addition to “Jesus Wins,” South Wind Vol. 1 features other captivating tracks such as “We Will Sing,” “Highest Are You” featuring Nathaniel Bassey, and “In This Room” featuring Ntokozo Mbambo. Each of these tracks contributes to the album’s theme of worship and adoration. The album also includes collaborations with celebrated artists like Phil Thompson and Dr. Tumi on the bonus track “Rebuild the Altar.”

South Wind Vol. 1 was released under Integrity Music and is now available on all major music platforms.

Mr. Pike Reshares “Pray For The World”

A couple years after it was first published, “Pray for the World,” a powerful, heartfelt gospel tune penned and performed by secular recording artist Mr. Pike, is now being reshared.

“Pray for the World” was conceptualized during a time when everyone was grappling with the COVID-19 pandemic and its aftermath. The devastating images we were seeing on our television sets and smart devices were downright scary. They made believers, non-believers, agnostics, and everyone in between call on God like never before.

Creators, regardless of whether they specialized in videos, music, poetry, films, etc., threw themselves into their crafts and responded to that moment in history in various ways. Mr. Pike reacted by creating “Pray for the World” audio and visuals.

His prowess as both a songwriter and producer is on full display as he, along with co-producer Jonathan Wells, masterfully captures the attention of listeners with what can aptly be described as a depressing yet honest record. And although the coronavirus is behind us, the song’s general message, which is a plea for God’s help, is still very relevant today, as it will be tomorrow and always. As such, “Pray for the World” is available on all streaming platforms, and the official video can be viewed on Mr. Pike‘s YouTube channel.

Bounty Killer Links With Pandemic Records For New Single “Ball A Roll”

Legendary dancehall deejay Rodney Basil Price, known professionally as Bounty Killer, has a new single called “Ball a Roll.” It’s a hardcore tune that was released last week on August 16, and it comes to us courtesy of Pandemic Records & Entertainment LLC, an imprint that has surged to the forefront of the reggae-dancehall industry.

“Ball a Roll” is what members of the dancehall community refer to as a ladies tune. On this one, Killer uses his deep bass voice to detail his experiences as they relate to his personal life. He talks about how he approaches women and then confidently shares the fact that his advances are usually welcomed and even celebrated.

For their part, the team at Pandemic Records gave Bounty a banging dancehall rhythm on which to voice. This is worth noting because recently there has been a lot of talk about the transformation of dancehall beats from its authentic aggressive nature to a more watered-down, trap-fused sound. “Ball a Roll,” which is now available on iTunes, Apple Music, Spotify, Pandora, and all other streaming platforms, is original dancehall. Listeners may disagree with Bounty Killer‘s message, but no one can question the authenticity of the music.
