Soca Anthropology, one of the main events that will be presented at this year’s Orlando Carnival, is set for Saturday, May 24th at the Seneff Arts Plaza—445 South Magnolia Avenue—in Orlando, Florida.

Ricky Dillard, The Choir Master, has been a gospel music pioneer since 1990, earning multiple Grammy, Dove, Stellar, and NAACP Image Awards. Celebrating 35 years with his choir, New G, he has released 13 albums, including Choirmaster II, which topped Billboard gospel charts.

Reggae Legend Maxi Priest To Perform At The Webster On May 31st

Popular live music venue, The Webster, which is located at 31 Webster Street in Hartford, Connecticut, will host reggae legend Maxi Priest on Saturday, May 31st. This is an all-ages Reggae Night event that’s being presented by Concert Crave. It’s scheduled to start at 7pm local time, and tickets are available on The Webster’s website.

On March 20th, Pandemic Records & Entertainment LLC announced the release of a new single by the internationally acclaimed artist, Turbulence, titled “Call Me.” This lively reggae track is infused with a vibrant and subtly sensual lovers-rock theme. It centers on Turbulence‘s efforts to entice his romantic interest to connect with him, particularly when she seeks intimate companionship.

Junior Kelly Announces Mini UK Stint For May 2025

In the month of May, reggae recording artist Junior Kelly, who has given us hits like “Love so Nice,” “Protection,” etc., will do a short stint in the United Kingdom. He will be joined by dancehall artist Nation Boss and others.

On May 23rd, Kelly will perform at the Jamyah Centre in Bradford; the following day, on the 24th, he will be at the Secret Arena in Birmingham, and on the final day, May 25th, Junior Kelly will wrap up the tour in London at a venue not yet announced.

GBM Nutron & Lyrikal Will Be In Jamaica For Xodus Carnival 2025

Trini-soca singer GBM Nutron and one of soca’s most consistent and versatile artists, Lyrikal, will perform at Jamaica’s 2025 Carnival. Both men are confirmed for events being presented by Xodus Carnival.

GBM Nutron will headline their Fete Gala, which takes place on Wednesday, April 23rd at the National Stadium, while Lyrikal will take center stage at Remedy on the 26th, also at the National Stadium.
