Jamaican reggae and inspirational dancehall artist Kurtiouss is encouraging listeners around the world to embrace purpose, perseverance, and positivity through his latest studio album, Addicted to Greatness, released on January 17, 2026 via his own Wrays Production.
Available on major streaming platforms worldwide, the 16-track, 56-minute project offers something for listeners of all ages. Standout tracks include “Live the Now,” “Tough Times,” “Thank You,” “Firm from Morning,” “Live Up,” and “Feel Alright.” The album’s focus single, “Firm from Morning,” is also supported by an official music video.
Inspired by Kurtiouss‘ personal experiences—including his travels to South Africa—as well as the challenges and triumphs he has witnessed throughout his life, Addicted to Greatness encourages listeners to embrace the present, avoid procrastination, and enjoy life’s journey while remaining focused on their goals. “I hope listeners find peace of mind, hope, strength, and remember to live life to the fullest every moment that goes by,” says Kurtiouss.
The album was produced by both Kurtiouss and Banjo Simmonds, with the majority of the songs written by Kurtiouss. Songwriter Michael Gibson, professionally known as Tsunami, co-wrote one track.
The album’s title reflects Kurtiouss‘ unwavering determination to rise above humble beginnings. Growing up in poverty instilled a relentless work ethic and an unshakable belief in striving for excellence—values that inspired the name Addicted to Greatness.
