City of Miramar Honors Black History Month with Business Awards and Teddy Riley Fireside Chat

The City of Miramar will celebrate Black History Month with its Business Awards and Fireside Chat, hosted by Mayor Wayne Messam, on Sunday, February 15, 2026. The special evening will take place from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Miramar Cultural Center Banquet Hall.

A highlight of the event will be an engaging fireside conversation with legendary American record producer and songwriter Teddy Riley. Widely recognized for his impact on contemporary music and culture, Riley will share insights from his career, discuss innovation and leadership, and reflect on the importance of legacy and community empowerment. The evening will also include a book giveaway and formal recognition of outstanding businesses and leaders.

The event will be held at the Miramar Cultural Center Banquet Hall, located at 2400 Civic Center Place, Miramar, Florida 33025.
