With well over 30 years in the soca music industry and several hit songs, Trinidadian recording artist Farmer Nappy is “Thankful.” He said as much on his latest release with the same name.

“Thankful,” an inspirational tune produced by De Red Boyz and performed by Farmer Nappy, was made public on November 11th, 2024. In addition to the audio being shared on streaming platforms, an official video was also uploaded to YouTube. Mical Teja Drops New Song & Video “Energy”

A few days ago, on October 16, Trini Soca star Mical Teja released a new single called Energy. On an uptempo track, the Trini songwriter and producer talks about the strength, passion, and vitality he has for calypso music.

Energy‘s official video, which was shared at the same time as the audio, does indeed show Mical‘s spiritedness for the genre. Catch Kes The Band, Nadia Batson & Others In Hollywood, Fl. On Oct. 14

On Monday, October 14, and in honor of Miami Carnival, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino (1 Lucky Street) in Hollywood, Florida, will welcome soca music at their DAER Dayclub/Nightclub. The event, dubbed Sexy ‘N’ White, will commence at 6:00 p.m. and is expected to run well into the following morning.

Attendees will be treated to performances by Kes The Band, Raymond Ramnarine, Nadia Batson, Johnny King, Ainsley King, and others. The live acts will be supported by several top-tier international DJs. Click here for tickets.

Miami Carnival’s One Fete Is Back!

It’s that time of year again! One Fete, Miami Carnival’s biggest live music event, is set for Saturday, October 12th, at the Miami Dade County Fair & Expo Center located at 10901 Coral Way.

The Coney Art Walls (3050 Stillwell Avenue) in Brooklyn, New York, will be pulsating with good music, people, and vibes on Saturday, August 31st, as some of the hottest Caribbean rhythms will be on rotation.

Caribbean Culture Will Be On Display In NY On Sept. 1st

The culinary, artistic, musical, and social elements that are representative of people from the Caribbean will be on full display at the forthcoming Oracabessa Caribbean Music Festival on Sunday, September 1st, at Roy Wilkins Park (Merrick Boulevard) in Queens, New York.
